Finally took off about an hour and a half late. I guess the ice melted? But, much better safe than sorry. I lost $10 slotting around RNO airport before getting a call from my driver. I always expect a town car or SUV. So was surprised to get a stretch SUV limo. A girl could get spoiled this way. Got checked into the room - a spa suite. I intend to put that tub to good use. Especially since I’m feeling very worn out from work the last couple days. Dropped my stuff off in the room and bellied up to the bar at Roxy’s for dinner.
That's an exterior window. The tub is in the bedroom. They love tubs in bedrooms in suites in Reno. At Eldorado they tend to be on raised platforms so you get a better view out the window
People can’t see into those windows? Just odd. I remember on a business trip to England once the room had a bathtub with legs right next to the bed.
Dinner at Roxy’s was very good. Stated with an Ultimate Cosmo Baked Lobster Bread Filet Mignon Mashed potatoes Glass of Siena This was an excellent meal. I meant to at least take a walk around the casinos. But I’m supremely tired. Despite sleeping eight hours last night and getting a short nap on the plane. So I grabbed a bottle of wine from the gift shop (don’t think I’ll have much trouble getting through that $500 folio credit). I’m going to take a bath, drink a glass of wine, and then pass out.
It's really rare. Early morning meetings went well. Now I just have one more big meeting this afternoon. If I can get through that ok, the rest of the week should pretty easy sailing. Down to Cafe Central for brunch. Went with the ham and eggs and this was excellent. The hash browns were particularly good - nice and crispy.
Finished up work for the day. Woo! Walked down to Cal Neva to see what their promo is this month (since I can never seem to find online). Also popped my head into Siri and they are running a similar promo. I think it’s $11/point - so these aren’t particularly appealing.
Gambling session did not go great. Down $1,500. Only $500 a cocktail. But did earn $250 in FP from a promotion. Silver lining. Consoling myself with sushi and beer. Random VP hits. Still waiting for a dealt Royal.
