I'm pretty sure you're correct about there only being one Hot Roll VP machine on the floor. I, too, would like to see more of those AND all of the other VP games you mentioned!

I wish video poker was included in the point multiplier. I'm not playing 9/6 Jacks or Better, Triple Double Bonus and Double Double Bonus are my games of choice. I also like Super Times Pay, Hot Roll, Ultimate X, etc… All of those games are HIGHLY volatile, more like slots, and it would be nice to get a little multiplier action for the added risk.

I would like to see more tier benefits, too. For me, as a video poker player, I don't get the multiplier benefit. I'm too old to even KNOW who most of the bands that play there are, so I'm not going to get that benefit, we don't care for Wicked Spoon, and we're normally only there for one or two nights, so we don't use maid service, so don't even get turndown service. We drive in, so I don't get airport transportation.

My benefits as a platinum card holder there really are just the 2 companion nights, comp resort fee, room upgrades when available (still never been given anything above one bedroom terrace with view), and the annual $250 resort credit.

I'm 7 Stars with CET and the list of benefits is pretty long, although they are getting shorter each year. I realize it doesn't take as much play to get platinum at Cosmo as it does 7 Stars with CET, but I had already renewed platinum in the first 6 months after reaching it to begin with, so I'm going to be giving Cosmo play closer to 7 Stars play during the year, but the benefits really don't compare. Don't get me wrong, I prefer Cosmo to ANY Vegas property, but we go to Vegas once or twice a month, so we still stay and play other places. That might not be the case if there were better benefits to be had!

Kevin, just wanted to thank you for being here and being active. I tend to stay at Aria, but often hit Cosmopolitan for a couple green-to-black-chip blackjack sessions over the course of a trip (I have to say, by the way, that while you guys have competitive comps and decent enough VP at the $0.25 level, Aria having 9/5 JoB at the bartops when betting dollars is a big draw for me, especially given the strength of their cocktail program), and will plan to continue to do so. Looking forward to stopping in this weekend, if possible. I'm not hugely concerned with my comps, but as someone who spends a lot of time following this industry for professional purposes, I very much appreciate the engagement here.

Thank you so much! I will be happy to spread the word to other slot youtube channels that once again it's okay to record our slot bonuses at Cosmopolitan. If I get stopped again when recording a slot bonus and by the way even one of the cocktail servers told me to stop recently while I'll was filming a Walking Dead Bonus can I give your name to the employee and ask them to check with you that it's okay to record?

    Kevin,

Just wanted to thank you for dropping by and extending this offer to us. I have thoroughly enjoyed my two times playing at the Cosmo and your marketing offers blow what I get from Mlife out of the water. If I'm able to return to Vegas this summer I'll definitely be staying with you guys for at least a couple of nights. Looking forward to seeing the new website & the expanded functionality.

    Kevin,

Thank you for this offer. You responded to my email quickly and matched my offer, I appreciate it as I am a low roller compared to most of these guys and gals.

    Kudos,

    Mark

Dianna I would print out that response from Kevin and have it laminated for use next time your in the new HL limit lounge. It's like Gov Pappy O'Daniel just pardoned George Clooney in 'Oh Brother Where Art Though'

Sorry to high jack this thread for a moment.

What I really want to know is how much Youtube advertising revenue is being kicked back to the 'Youtube Slot Bonus Mafia' as I call them (Brent, SDGuy, VegasHyeroller, BlueHart, CasinomanMj and a slew of others I watch).
I had to laugh when I saw SDGuy start setting up a store to sell SDGuy merchandise, I fully expect he starts selling autographs from you know who.... BTW smack him the next time you see him and tell him that his Real Casino videos are getting boring, more slot videos and less rambling he was way more interesting when he was drunk playing Clue (1st generation), I had to unsubscribe him lately cause the number of ads was driving me nuts. Love your channel though. :nworthy:

Back to the topic at hand. Cosmo love for VMB gamblers. :nworthy:

Today I filed my 2015 1040NR, and wanted to get my Win/Loss from Cosmo and couldn't do it online. I called and they said the only way they could do it was to MAIL it. So I will prob get my WinLoss in a month from now...I'm Canadian. I filed today without the WinLoss from Cosmo, as well, I don't wanna talk about it. But, it would be nice to print it through Identity, so I could add it to my other losses...

Thanks for your time Kevin. Looking forward to staying in April and seeing what you`ve done with the place. Any chance you might be able to clarify what the rules are regarding drinks at the VP bars? We are mainly slot players but we do like an occasional run at DDB, and that's always better with a drink in hand. I have never had a problem getting a drink but with the ticket system that now appears to be in use, I`m concerned how that might be affected. ;)

Just wanted to chime in as well and thank you for reaching out. Cosmo has always been on my list of places to try stay. I tend to get some free play offers and a few comp nights during the week but never taken you up on it as I don't typically visit Vegas on weekdays.
The filming of bonus rounds is cool; I will be testing that out this weekend when I wander though!

Can you comment at all on how tier levels are determined for table players since we don't earn points?

I'm 7* with CET and am strictly a table games player. CET has a great program for their top tier and it doesn't seem like Cosmo compares. I plan to start playing more at Cosmo (first trip at Cosmo was last month), but it'd be nice if I knew I was going to get some extra benefit when I get there.

Thanks for posting. I'm in the category of having visited The Cosmopolitan several years ago when looking for a home base, and have not been back since. What is your current policy on tier matching, specifically Platinum with Grazie?

Thank you Kevin for answering my question regarding Win/Loss Statement.

Could you able to tell us weather my host gets credit for my trip even though I do not book thru my host? I always just use 1-800 line to book my comp offer.

Good idea on printing out response from Kevin Sweet as we still get stopped now and then at Aria when they hire someone new and have neglected to inform them that Aria allows recording, fortunately it's easy to clear up there and make them go check with whatever slot manager is on the floor.

No one makes that much from ad revenue, even the top channel Casinomanj likely doesn't make enough to cover a 10th of his gambling expenses for taking the time to record and edit the vids, especially when you consider that many of us end up gambling on some slots we might never play but viewers have asked us to try.

I know that was a joke but you know who is good with fans taking photos and posing with them but hates to give out a autograph. When Rex and I were at Venetian hurrying to grab the Uber we ordered, a really aggressive female fan wanted his autograph and didn't have a pen and drove him nuts blocking him while shouting out for someone to give him a pen and she knew we were in a hurry. Finally someone gave her a pen to shut her up but that's the only time I've seen him give out a autograph and I now understand why he doesn't want to.

As far as selling the SDGuy merchandise I thought that was a good idea and he got the idea (or perhaps he had it before for all I know) when Brent, myself, Rex and him posed at G2e with the T-Shirts that Aristocrat had made for us with Sdguy's zombie face that will be in the new Walking Dead 2 slot coming out this spring or summer. When his viewers saw it on Facebook a lot of them wanted to buy it. :)

The link Derek gave you to socialblade where you can find stats on all youtube channels can be helpful to see how they are gaining subs and a few other things, but it's got such a wide range for what the channels are making each month or a year. Going by what I know my channel does I would say it tends to be in the middle or less for those of us with Google's adsense (adsense takes a huge cut) and for those who have cut a deal with a third party instead of Google it might be more in the middle range.

I'm afraid to pass on your message to Sdguy, LOL! I'm glad to hear you like my channel still. Thanks!

Back to the topic on hand, it's great to see Cosmo reaching out to VMB gamblers who don't have a history with their property and also letting us now openly record our slot vids again.

One more question for Kevin or a Cosmo regular. Looking at current tier benefits, Platinum Identity offers VIP check-in. Is it a player's lounge, similar to the Gold/Platinum lounges at V/P, Aria's new tower suites lounge...? I remember reading old posts where the VIP lounge location was shuffled around and amenities downgraded, but don't recall the details. Just interested in learning the current status/location and any upcoming changes in the works. Thanks.
