Note to self: find the most realistic looking novelty police/fed badge I can find this year once the halloween shops open in a month or so, buy that and a fake wallet to keep empty in my side pocket. Bring to Vegas. Enjoy the fun. =)

Just be aware if you do this that if you show your fake badge to a real cop (or under cover cop) they will not be amused at impersonating a police officer. If they are really in a bad mood could be looking at a serious fine/jail time.

No laws against keeping Halloween novelty items in my wallet unless I am actually using them to impersonate a peace officer.

It's simply just going to hang there on one flap of a wallet, and from a distance a hooker sees it, it may look real. They can believe whatever they choose to believe, I will just have it there not saying a word.

Besides, law enforcement does not own the rights to a golden shield. As long as it doesn't specifically say police (or any other law enforcing agency) there's no laws broken. Most costume shop badges I see simply have badges that say things like "PROTECT" in big letters in place of police.

Think along the lines of this in the form of a golden shield:

It wasn't their fault no one bothered to check what their badges actually said when they were waved into a high security APEC area. If the officers had just asked to see their badges, they would have been turned around.... but they rather just assumed from a distance that what they saw was something else.... and that's exactly what I would expect a hooker to do =)

Not really. Some of those Thursday arriving flights and Monday departing flights carry so many "week-ending girls", its almost like a convention of them. Alot of money leaves Vegas that way. And all those Hendertucky dwelling "music promoters" or "club promoters" who have six or seven girl stables hate those cream-skimming week-enders! The money in Vegas for that sort of thing is ridiculous.

The escort thread made me go find this one to make sure it stays alive! lol

One of my golf buddies, Bill, was retelling me one of his hooker stories yesterday.

His roomie for that golf trip was John. John is one of the more colorful one's in our group. He's single and very funny. So Bill was in bed when John brought a hooker back to the room. Bill pretends to be asleep. He's listening to the goings on, trying not to laugh, because John is saying funny stuff. "Oh baby, sorry. Is that your cervix? I tried to warn you!" That sort of thing.

So John finishes up and goes into the bathroom. Bill said that the gal sprung out of bed like a cat onto a mouse. She went straight to the TV stand thing that BILL's wallet was on. Bill coughed and stirred to scare her straight back into the bed.

He told John about it later and John said he knew he shouldn't have left her out there alone. Bill was lucky that he was peeking between the sheets!

Bill has told me the story four or five times. It just gets funnier every time. It wouldn't have been so funny if she had been successful in her larceny though.

You realize of course that these were NOT hookers at all, don't you?
Think of it from a business perspective: Two losers in a shovel fight are trying to each come up to your room, not taking your polite "no" and even going as far as to insult you so as to goad you into agreeing to their proposition. So what do you think their business really is? Hooking... and they were so insistent because they need the practice or something???
If you had taken them up to your room you would have been drugged and robbed IF you were lucky. Hookers, even those who intend to filch a wallet or something, don't act that way. Those two were a well-practiced team and they never had any intention of providing you with any services in addition to the money they stole.

I've been hit up too many times to count. I think they get frustrated with me, because while I have no interest in their services, I'm excited about anyone that wants to talk to me, so they usually end up wasting their time acting friendly with me only to get nowhere.

As for all the guys saying they've not been approached by hookers, I wonder why . . . . either they are just not realizing it, or perhaps they are not hanging around the casino by themselves. I like to spend a lot of my time by myself when I'm in Vegas. I like to have my own table and just chat with the dealers, or take a slot machine in a secluded area when I just need to chill out. Either way, it's a red flag shot up high that says "Lonely dude, right here!" and I may as well be wearing a big hooker-magnet around my neck.

I may have told this story here. I know I have on the "other" system.

Several years ago I was with the husband of a friend in a kind of trashy bar, having been coaxed there on a dare. We had a few drinks and nature called, so I went off to the ladies room. When I went in there was a kind of brassy blonde touching herself up at the vanity. Dressed in ordinary street clothes, not typical trampwear. I thought NBD so I found a semi-clean stall and did what had to be done.

So anyway as I was behind closed doors somebody else comes in and the conversation went like this:

Blonde: Say, do you know how to get to Lamb and Sahara?
Other: Yeah, go here, turn left, turn right, etc., etc., why?
Blonde: Oh, I'm meeting a trick there at 12:30.

    Uh, yeah, right!

1st trip ever to Vegas was June 2010....was like a 5 yr old on her first trip to Disney....all the glitz, bells and whistles. Never saw any "working girls" but am not even sure now if I was looking for them, just so captivated by all the slot possibilities -- kid in a candy store for this small town girl.

Anyway, from the first night on the strip to the last, my husband (also his first trip) collected slapper cards. While I was kind of irritated by his fascination of collecting these, he thought it was amusing. He told me he was taking back to my son, thought he would get a kick out of them -- he was 18yrs old at the time. So he took my son these cards, which he was amused by.

Get home from work the next day and here's my son and his 2 buddies in my living room with all these cards spread out on the coffee table, calling these numbers and seeing what they could get and how much it would cost. My son thought it was so funny when the guy on the phone said he would send the escort to him "wherever he was" and my son replied "Really? I thought you would charge me more to come to Ohio." Needless to say we all got a laugh out of that.

Can't wait for my next trip....now that i won't officially be a noob in Vegas am looking forward to play "spot the hooker".

This is one funny thread. Cannot believe I haven't read it before. I myself have never seen one but being a female I certainly wasn't trying to scope them out. I will for sure play "spotting" next time. Thank you all for the laughs.
I am so afraid that if they approach my husband I will be a resident of the detention center for the night. I get a bit "uh, oh, gonna have to kick your A** for that" Bad upbringing I guess.....
    lol.

Why would she care that you are gay? Gay peoples money is just as good as straight peoples money.
Its like the porn slappers handing out cards to 83 year old grandmothers.

    Approached by a Hooker

As I was exploring the Stratosphere casino on my first night in Vegas, I noticed an attractive young lady following me. Eventually she said hi. I said hi back. She asked where I was going. I said I was just checking out the casino. She asked if I had a room there. I said yes. She asked if we could go up to my room. I laughed and said no. She asked why not, she said I looked lonely. I told her I was not interested, but she kept following me any way. So I walked towards the security desk. When she realized that I was about to report her to the security guard, she quickly disappeared.

I was walking through the MGM, fairly early in the day, and suddenly a woman asked me; "Where you from?" After some small talk she asked if I wanted to go on a "date". I was a bit surprised that this was done right in the middle of the casino. I just politely declined and she politely moved on.

But nothing like walking alone through the main shopping district in Shanghai, where I stood out just a little with my blonde hair. I would just shake one loose and another would grab my arm and "just want to talk". One of them would not let go, literally. I had to forcefully pry her fingers from my arm.

Several trips ago, we stayed at Harrah's for the first (and last) time. I was up early, walking around one morning, prob around 4 or 5. I love this time, there are people still awake from the night before and the crazy people like me that can't sleep in vegas, up for the day. Anyway, I walked to the bar to get a cup of coffee and there was a really, REALLY drunk guy sitting there, probably all of 23 with a "woman" hanging on his arm. He was trying to get up and kept saying "I can't believe you want to have sex with me" and he kept getting louder and louder, with this sh-t eating grin. The woman kept looking around all wide eyed and shushing him. They eventually walked away. I have seen alot of hookers in Vegas, but this was the first time, I was like 'yikes, I hope she leaves him his ID when she steals everything".

I have seen at PH, a 'woman' go up the elevator, very obvious, with two young guys, come back down about 45 minutes later, still pulling her dress back into place, and then leave again, HALF AN HOUR LATER, to go back up with another guy. I was just sitting at a winning slot machine, but decided I just couldn't watch anymore and left.

Just remember, what happens in Vegas, doesn't always stay in Vegas.

Good hooker stories never get old!!!

I enjoy watching, but have been approached a few times as well. Hottest one was when I was staying in Mandalay Bay and she tried everything she could think of.
I told her I had a roommate sleeping and she tried the "well I'm sure he wouldn't mind at all" line.
Told her it wouldn't happen and she offered to drive me to her hotel room in another area.
    Good Times :)
