I ultimately agree it's a positive thing, we don't exactly have the full details of the perks although there might not be any additional perks to be a dimaond plus or elite. Yet I do understand that even if the airfare credit is a positive perk, it may not be enough to motivate many to go from 25K to 75K.

The crux of the complaints are, everything is staying the same but you used to get a $750 airfare credit and 4 nights at 80k, so they've lowered the TC by 5k but taken away $150 from the airfare credit and the 4 nights entirely. It's a net loss for people between 80-150k no change for anyone under 75k or over 150k, and a gain only for those people who exceed 75k but dont reach 80k. I'll bet that number is a lot smaller than the number who reach 80k but not 150k, so when you consider that, it's a net loss to the players overall and a gain for the corporation.

Edit- they did stop the 80k reward in 2018 so I guess compared to this year it's an improvement overall, but over time, it's still a decrease in benefit. They took something away for two years, now they're putting it back but with less value.

there was also a $100 folio credit at aspirations 1 that was taken away...my only complaint is not that its back, it should have never left but they devalued it greatly and then sprung it at the end of the year...should have announced it for January

I definitely understand that sentiment, but the same thing can be said for a lot of these items. I think the key here is they took something away, people complained about it and they put something back to try to soften that blow. All around that's a positive. If they had not added anything we would still be making the same complaints and playing the same way. I suppose everything is in how you look at it. They announced all the same perks stay in place and they are putting back to some degree a perk that people used to get, they made that perk easier to get than past perks. To do all this at a time when most every other casino continues to degrade perks everywhere they can is actually admirable. I was one of those contemplating diversifying my play in 2020 from Caesars, but I will look to give them another year since they seem to be the only big player's club trying to listen to the players.

Reading the statement about the changes:

    "Diamond Plus: 25,000 Tier Credits
Members that reach 25,000 Tier Credits will receive unlimited complimentary access to Laurel Lounges, as they do today. They will also receive an exclusive Diamond Plus Caesars Rewards card."

When I read it I was wondering with the wording are they going to eliminate the ability to use 1000 credits if you are just Diamond. Any thoughts.

It appears today's Diamond was yesteryear's Platinum. Just wish they'd have given a little more than 2 months warning, as I could have given them a bit more of my business.

As a 7*, I was wondering if 7* will get a second trip like we had for the Diamond Aspirations trip with $750 air fare.

I don't have a definitive answer, but I would be very surprised if they did this.

Good question. Years ago I recall I only also got the Diamond (80k) aspirations the year I first made Seven Stars. I did not get that Diamond aspirations in subsequent years when I made Seven Stars again.

Also I did not get the email that is mentioned in this thread. I assume it is because I am already Seven stars and not entitled to it. @oghuman did you get this email?

BTW, I emailed Darryl McEwen to see if he knows.

Could start some datapoints, towards the beginning it states: "We see you are at risk of losing your Seven Stars® status for next year." so I'm guessing those who are in risk of losing 7* and possibly diamond are the only one's receiving this email.

It really did not say anything about paying for low level Diamonds at all. So, no idea.

Darryl responded and said we (7*) do get both trips. However, they can not be combined to get $1,800 air fare for one trip. I never even thought about that. That's great, I usually do two Vegas trips a year.

I'm not sure what your question is, but I'll guess you're asking what the 7* trip si call the annual retreat. It's when you achieve 150,000 tier points you earn the annual retreat which consist of 4 nights at any CET casino with a hotel $1,200 toward air fare and a $500 folio for food and drink.
Most players can get more than 4 nights depending on your ADT.
Now 7* will get the Diamond trip with $600 toward air fare also. Two years ago they had the Diamond Aspirations trip for 7* which gave $750 for
    air fare.

    CET's description:
Receive a magnificent annual travel package complete with airfare worth up to $1,200 for round-trip coach tickets, round-trip transportation between the airport and hotel, up to four nights of complimentary accommodations and a $500 dining folio.

I hope that was the answer to your question.

Diamond Plus is today's Diamond Elite, so comp access to the lounges. Diamond still has access, at $10 in RCs.
