10 days, 4 hotels, another Vegas adventure!

Yay! I’ve been waiting for ages to finally start our trip report, and have been loving following along with many others as we’ve put the finishing touches to our plans.


This is our fifth/fourth visit to Vegas, after falling deeply in love with the crazy town when we visited for our honeymoon in 2015. It’s probably @majoro and my favourite place on earth, and we’ve got a doozy of a trip planned. I hope you’ll enjoy following along, and will endeavour to keep it as live as possible.


Hotels (4): Plaza, Bellagio, Cosmo, Aria


Gaming: tonnes of VP, plenty of craps, lots of slots, and probs some BJ here and there


Food: So. Much. Food. From higher-end eats at Cosmo and Aria, to good foods at Plaza (Hash House a Go Go is a definite go-go), to downtown fun and games (and MSS buffet good times), we are READY.


Drinks: As we are flying from further away, technically it will be five o’clock somewhere (home) when we awaken in Vegas...haha. Cocktails and craft beers are both high on the agenda, and if Oleg at the BHB has anything to do with it, some morning frozen margs too...


A.N.Other: Spa days, pool time, shopping, strip walks, meeting up with some VMB lovelies (we have plans for the big group meet, but anyone who’s in town, do give us a wave if you’d like to grab a drink or say hello!), maybe even a little clubbing or karaoke. Also a tonne of relaxing - our first proper long break in a while!


We fly today from Heathrow with Virgin (Upper Class, hurrah!), but started the holiday early with an evening at the Sofitel yesterday, complete with massages, a nice dinner, and a decent sleep.

Hi all as we fly over Winnipeg on Virgin Atlantic 155. We’ve been well fed and sampled the bar at the back of the cabin- we land in Vegas in around 3.5 hours- here’s hoping for a smooth glide through customs and passport control onto our awaiting transport (a modest SUV from Presidential)

And we are here! Crazy windy coming in to land at McCarran but we made it down. Limo to Plaza was great, check in very smooth, now awaiting a handyman to fix our safe so we can head out for some Fremont wandering.
