We’ll be sure to wave on the way back!
After the endless grey of late winter/early spring in London, how nice it is to wake up to gentle sunshine coming through the sheers. Lazing around as we formulate a plan for the day...and breakfast.
Thanks for a great report, enjoy your day!
We spotted a craps table being born at Bellagio as we headed out for breakfast. And now we’ve arrived for our first ever Peppermill...
Love peppermill it’s our traditional first morning breakfast & people watching
Oh my gosh, Peppermill was awesome!
Loving this TR...especially the pictures!
Love your view and the room and agree, there is something about the bright Vegas sun, especially this time of year. I don't play craps but that was a cool picture of the in-formation craps table. Can't wait to see the conservatory next week!
Back to Main Street. Similar story to yesterday - @majoro did better than me, but we had fun on VP and silly slots.
Oleg makes a great cup of coffee.
So many ‘so close!’ draws.
Played some fun slots!
Definitely my favourite downtown casino.
Really enjoying the report - just caught up on the whole thing as it nears Friday lunchtime here in NZ. The pie and mash has made me hungry !
As an expat Englishman I love watching football in Vegas.
Good luck guys
What a great day you're having! Love waking up to beautiful Vegas mornings.
After MSS we went on a little degen wander around Fremont.
Popped into the Cal to check out the golden arm wall, redeem a MP, and get far too warm (they keep that casino so toasty!).
Wandered through Binions and made a three dollar profit on Ultimate X Spin Poker. A high roller I am not!
Went to Golden Gate, @majoro plqyed some bartops, we both did some silly slots, and I encountered an ice cold craps table.
Used to love SATC so had to play for nostalgia alone.
After making our donations, we wended our way up Fremont and after a brief stop in the D went to Banger Brewing for a Perfect 10. Delicious as ever!
Then, it was Nacho Daddy time. I looooooove Mexican cuisine of all kinds and am a nacho fiend, so the food here was my idea of heaven. The five dollar happy hour margs were great too!
thanks for the advice re: South tower.....we will wave!
Your pics are great!! Love the bathroom sign, the margaritas look terrific. I have learned when I travel with my 81 year old pip squeak Mom, one happy hour drink only allowed for her.....she never learns.......lol
Had so much fun watching the Bellagio fountains from our room!
Shortly after watching a few of the shows @majoro put the Formula 1 on the TV, and within ten minutes I was fast asleep...
After dropping off so early last night, I was up at the crack of dawn today! Took advantage of the east facing room to watch the sunrise peek through the clouds.
It was fun to watch the fountains ‘practising’ in the early morning light.
We spent the morning, after a buffet breakfast, messing around in Bellagio, Bally’s, Paris and PHo. Bubble craps, VP, slots - once again @majoro fared better than I did!
Then we came back to our room for some sports viewing (Newcastle vs Leicester for M, Real Housewives for me) and snacks from our room stash.
After some downtime it was up to MGM Grand. First, whiskey flights and cocktails at Whiskey Down. Then awesome Mexican food at Hecho in Vegas.
After a delicious meal we settled in at the bartops and my quad drought finally started to ease - in an hour of play I got three, including this delight.
Then a taxi home to Bellagio, some more money fed into the slots by me, and another good run on Heidi for M. Just caught the Game of Thrones fountains (so cool!) and now curled up cosy, watching the Weather Channel.
Another fun filled Vegas day. It’s the first time we’ve done ten days here, so we are very much learning about the ebb and flow of proceedings.
Early morning @majoro headed over to the Aria sports book for the Premier League fixtures - I watched in the room while lazing in bed catching up with gossip on twitter about Taylor Swift’s upcoming new music. To each his or her own, right?
After spending far too long exploring fan theories I walked over to Aria to meet M and head over to downtown. Lord bless Uber.
For brunch we went to MSS for the ‘champagne brunch’ - great food options abounded. I vastly prefer MSS to Bellagio, I have to say.
Then we settled in at BHB for some bartop VP. I hit a couple of quads, such as this one...
..and a short while later, I hit my first royal!
Dealt hearts, scooping the progressive just under the tax threshold. DELIGHTED.
The first royal is always a thrill. Congrats.
Thank you. I was in shock!

Very nice. That was the perfect time to hit. Now you need to get #2.
