Wendover is a great town if you like gambling. If you’re not into gambling, there’s not much to do.

Great single deck blackjack rules with $5 minimums where blackjack pays 3:2 and you can double on any two cards.

The Rainbow is my favorite of the 5 Wendover Casinos. There is a free shuttle that will take you to all of them, so you might as well check out all five to see which one you like best.

Three casinos (Rainbow, Peppermill, and Montego Bay) are all under the same players card. The Nugget and Red Garter are both on a different players card.

Anything else you want to know, just ask.

I’m not familiar with that part of Nevada, but I’m curious, why are you traveling there instead of Vegas? I’m pretty sure there’s not much to do there.

They do junkets that are super cheap. Like $149 for flight and hotel from Wisconsin. If you’re a gambler, it’s a great deal.

While that makes some sense, I think there’s casinos in Wisconsin. Plus Vegas is warmer then Wisconsin, and I believe Wendover is just as cold as Wisconsin.

I loved wendover.. great history of airport. Do yourself a favor rent a car and drive to salt lake for a day trip... driving on 80 through the salt flats is like nothing else on earth... Also salt lake city is cool... we went to antelope island for a walk herd of buffalo there. Really cool to see.

At the $1 Level they have 9/6 JoB, 8/5 BP, and 9/6 DDB. Nickel and quarter level is 8/5, 7/5, and 9/5 respectively.

Most of the machines allow you to bet 25 credits per hand rather than just five credits, but you still get the royal bonus at 5 credits.

The red garter right next door has 9/6 job and 8/5 bp at the quarter level on the bartops I believe. I have recently been playing at the dollar level so not positive on that but other than the concert hall there is not much else to do other than gambling.

I've seen 10 credits but not 25! Don't accidentally hit max bet!

LoL, exactly! I made that mistake once.
There is a “bet five credits” button, so hit that one instead.

Rainbow steak house is absolutely delicious and you should get coupon for half off or 2 for 1 in your coupon book. There's not a bad thing on the menu and the lobster appetizers are amazing.
