Leaving for Wendover tomorrow the 14th, Staying at the Montego Bay. Plan on gambling mostly at the Peppermill and Rainbow because they’re the only two casinos that offer Let it Ride. All the rest has 3 card poker and of course THE best BJ Nevada has to offer. I may run over to the Nugget to play a few Keno tickets. It’s a fun get a way when Vegas is not a possibility. No entertainment tomorrow, only the buffets. Lol

Had a great time in Wendover last weekend. I stuck with my game plan to gamble at the Rainbow & Peppermill to play let it ride and the Nugget for some Keno. Lost my rear on LIR so I hightailed it to the Montego Bay for BJ. Glad I did because I hit a .50 cent six spot Keno ticket for $750! I also brought my BR back to even with wins at BJ at Montego Bay. Made a sports book bet for the Eagles this weekend. This week the Wendover plane came from Nebraska. Met some very nice cornhuskers that were reluctant to going back to the minus 20 degree weather! BURRR!!

Well done! I may have to take a trip out there after all. Only about a 5-6 hour drive from where I'm at.

Do you remember what the great BJ rules were? DAS, S17, surrender, double any 2 cards?

I typically make 2-3 trips per year to Wendover with gal pals and/or sisters. Next trip 1/27. Obviously not Vegas, but they are nice getaways to tide us over til our annual August Vegas trip. It is a nice direct flight out of Duluth. The price is usually around $200 that includes direct airfare, three nights lodging, free shuttle service, etc. We always go on our BOGO offers so we pay $100 each. Can't beat the price. We have stayed at Peppermill, Rainbow, and Montego Bay. All three are nice and when we do a summer trip, we stay at Montego Bay as they have a nice outdoor pool. Agree with other posters about the Steak House at the Rainbow.....always a must.

I love the single deck pitch blackjack and always very friendly dealers.

I've always wanted to try Wendover, but the flights are so inflexible. From Minneapolis, you have maybe one choice every other month and that is it. I looked at the flight schedule for the Wendover airport website and they take in on average 1.5 flights a day. Odd little place, but I think I would really like it!

Well, since our trip in December, they sent us an offer to go February 26-March 1 with free airfare and hotel so I booked it!!! It sure doesn’t take much to earn easy comps!!! Loving Wendover so far!!!

Yes the comps are really good, and if it’s possible you could try to take advantage of the seven or 10 times comp nights or weekends. I easily earn $50 to $100 comp dollars when the multipliers are applied. I hardly ever have to pay for a meal there and of course the rooms are comped as well.
