You would think the agony of completing a 2000 piece puzzle would turn someone off to the idea of trying to complete a second 2000 piece puzzle... but we are suckers for punishment

We actually completed this puzzle prior to the one in my earlier post.

Does anybody else suffer from the "It took me too many damn hours to make it, there's no way I'm destroying it" syndrome like me? haha

Plus, it's Vegas... it's too pretty to destroy ;)

There's gotta be more people with Vegas related items at home?! I'm starting to think I'm weird haha

Weird or not... there's more! :D

I've been a sucker for the slot apps... myVegas for awhile but more recently the Wynn, Binion's and 4 Queens as well. During our last trip I was able to pick up a few items for "free" from these fine establishments.

Here is the beach towel from 4 Queens. It's pretty good quality and quite large measuring 5 ft in diameter. I am currently using this as a throw on one of my couches in the downstairs living area.

My husband’s table out in his man cave. Made from a ship’s wheel. He put a deck of cards and a poker chip in each slot of the wheel. The chip and deck of cards in each slot match. He tried to use all older casinos.

The Michael Godard painting sits prominently in our home. I bought it for myself for my 50th birthday. The lamp I bought at a dollar store and I just had to have it. The blackjack table was bought as a piece of felt on our first adult trip to Vegas in 1992. My now ex-husband mounted it on plywood and it has been the centre of many a party... as you can tell from the drink stains on it . Needless to say, I got custody of the blackjack table in our divorce :)

I'm too lazy (or the room is too cluttered) to take photos. I've got my El Rancho coin cups, dozens of decks of cards, a huge collection of drink stirs, some of those souvenir drink containers, too many personalized shot glasses/beer cozies, a giant feather boa and a collection of solo cups full of beads for some reason, a sparkly green cowboy hat for St Patrick's Day, some luau gear, a flamingo, books, books, books and a game I've never played called "Lord$ of Vegas". Oh, and one of those photo books you get made for you at Shutterfly or Walmart from my trip with Mom for her 75th.

We have a collection of Vegas stuff at home. Nothing special, mugs, cocktail souvenir glasses, players cards, decks of cards, lots of pens. I have a tiny hall of fame for pens from places that are not with us anymore. They are not allowed to be used as pens.

Can't take pics because we are in our second home (Spain) on lockdown.

Thanks very much, @ardee We are fine, We are plodding along with the lockdown. All our Vegas reservations are cancelled apar for the airline. The flight still shows as scheduled, they must be cancelling slowly to spare the poor agents having to deal with the fallout.

Spain seems incredibly safe. They are so on the ball it's untrue. England seems to be a bit chaotic, and I do worry about my dad. My brother and SIL are stepping up, but they don't know his little idiosyncrasies. I talk to him every day and he sounds in good spirits.

sorry @Sonya if this is a bit off-topic.

Cool stuff! Did you get the Riviera stuff when they were selling it off at the resort after closing?

Upon arrival at the Luxor for our 2019 NYE trip... and before even checking-in... we got these awesome pyramids filled with 70oz of a yummy concoction known widely as a piña colada :) Now that's how you start off a trip!

The Sky Beam at the top of the cup actually lights up as well... an awesome souvenir! These puppies don't live in a cupboard either... they are sitting atop my cabinet in my living area :)

Drum-roll please... Now for my #1 top favorite Vegas related item... it's not actually 'from' Vegas, but 'of' Vegas...

Recently my gf (who is just the awesomest btw) gave me an absolutely 'fabulous' gift... thoughtful, creative, personal... she designed a hardcover 26-page picturebook titled "Vegas Moments" containing 91 pictures of us doing all the fun and exciting things we did during our first 6 trips together over the past 3 years.

Now this is an awesome keepsake! And an even awesomer gf! Lucky me! :D
