I have many opinions about the New England Patriots.

I don't give two shits about the Spygate or deflated footballs, honestly. I don't care and I never looked at their success as being attributed to any cheating. They're just smarter than everyone else.

I honestly don't know how they won a Super Bowl after XXXIX...that's on me, but I don't get it.

I don't understand why Tom Brady was Super Bowl MVP in XLIX or LI at all...but I honest to God love this dudes demeanor.

I always have, but watching his press conference tonight...can't understand how anybody can hate that guy (and I despise just about everyone).

I'm a big Tom Brady fan. He's not the best QB to ever play ..nobody is going to convince me of that.

He is ONE of the very best players and I helluh admire him in the pressers when he just says it as it is.

Why I felt the need to write this, I don't know.

Good luck to #12 wherever he continues. I appreciate the true greatness.

I think the stats will say that Tom Brady is the greatest of all time. That being said I can’t stand him personally. Being a Buffalonian certainly doesn’t help in my opinion of him but still think he’s a real prick.

Agreed they where up 16-0 the first half, not sure how they blew it.

I watched parts of two games yesterday but don't remember all of it. Let me see... Buffalo/Texas. I was routing for Buffalo because I know @Champster1 likes them. Great game. Texas didn't even score until the end of the 3rd qtr and came back to win. And...Patriots/Somebody where Brady passed an interception as the last play of his career. Funny. Wish I had his money...and looks.

I think it is time Tom hangs up the cleats. He doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, but if he wants to sign again with the Patriots, fine. I just don't want to see him in another jersey ala Bobby Orr.

I agree. But if he comes back to the Pats, they have a lot of work to do on getting him help.
This season showed he can’t carry this team anymore. Or nor should he, he’s 42 for Christ sakes.

Hey I’m from Indy, so you can imagine what I think of the Patriots. But you know what? Scoreboard is Scoreboard.
That’s why when the Colt finally did beat them here in the AFC Championship game, Marlin Jackson’s interception of Brady. It was like the City had a huge orgasm.

I don’t know why he would come back if there isn’t huge upgrades to the offense. Easier said than done though.

I think Mr. Brady should go out on top. Just retire. Call it a day. I don't think he should play for another team, as Joe Montana did when he played for Kansas City. Just go out on top, make commercials, buy a few car dealerships and work on the golf game. And in the interest of full disclosure, a Pats loss is the NFL equivalent of the joy I feel when watching Nick Saban take a loss. Just being honest.

I think he re-signs and plays another 5 years for the Pats and they will win the AFC in 3 of those 5 years.

@Breeze147 to many holes to fill , and they have many free agents that they wont be able to sign , All good things must come to an end.
Has gone to 9 Super Bowls that will never be done in the history of football won 6, Mr Kraft has got problems getting players with the cap for 2020 , so I suggest he go get a massage , and don't be surprised if Bill goes too , my opinion.

I would like to see if he can win without Brady for 5 or 6 years. Don't think so , my opinion

Anybody know how many HOF WR, RB, TE he has had over 20 years? 2 and over 20 years very very few all pro offensive weapons. To say he's have it on his back is an under statement.

I totally respect Brady on & off the field! But I can't stand him or the Pats.

I'm super happy that they won't be back for another superbowl appearance. I hope he's done, as this season was arguably the worst he's played in his entire career. And that home loss to the Dolphins last week, that took away their bye week, and caused them to bounce early from the playoffs, was pathetic for a team that holds itself to such lofty standards.

I have always rooted for Brady as long as he isn't facing the Bears. As a former athlete myself (college, not pro), I simply appreciate witnessing greatness, perhaps more so than the average fan. What he and Belichick have done over the past two decades has never been done before, and may very well never be done again.

To be able to watch athletes like Brady and Jordan and Tiger and Federer is rare and special.

The problem isn't all brady's fault. Butterfinger receivers, poor o line that allowed brady to get hit. Recievers that can't even set up in the right formation or run the correct routes, etc, etc.

I guess when it's not fun anymore or he gets hit one too any times then he will leave he game. But yes, most people say that he's the GOAT.

Tom Brady is literally one of my all-time heroes. I know that sounds silly for a grown ass man to say that about a professional athlete, but it's true. I respect that man more I can put into words, both on and off the field. I may be in complete denial, but, I do not believe this is the end. He'll be back in a Patriots uniform next year and they will get him some help. It will be business as usual, at least for one more season.

February 03, 2020 I will be in a Sportsbook putting what I can down for them to bounce back next season in grand fashion for one last time.

Who knows, maybe the pats will trade up and draft tua. Give him a year or more to recuperate and then he can take over from tom.
