Couldn't agree more Sonya, I always wonder why people are shocked when a small child is hit by a stray bullet at 1:00 a.m. on a street corner in the "inner city", they should be in bed.

There are very few things than can “ruin” my trip, but there are a few annoyances. I️ usually have very little tolerance for BS but I do my best to remind myself that Vegas is my happy place and that I’m not working so everything will be fine...

    1) The Overly Important Non Smoker - I️ consider myself a very polite smoker. As others have mentioned asking, not leaving it burning, blowing the other way, etc but Vegas is the ONLY place where I’m not looked at like a leper. There are a ton of “non smoking casinos” all over the US. If it really bothers you that much, go elsewhere. You know what annoys the shit out of me...loud screaming kids. You know where I️ don’t go? Disneyland. Get over yourself. It’s Vegas. Accept it, deal with it, or move on. Let me have my one place. You have the rest of the country.
    2) Speaking of loud annoying kids... go to Disneyland. I hear it’s non smoking. I have no problem with family’s in Vegas...Just stay somewhere that I’m not. Seriously though, I’ve never understood the thought process of bringing kids to Vegas but I️ don’t have any kids as you can probably guess so to each their own. They can’t sit at the bar so I’m good.
    3) Losing - it sucks and can get pretty annoying when you are burning cash faster than the ATM can spit it out but it’s part of the game. I️ fully intend on “spending” my bankroll. I hope to come home with more than I️ left with but as long as I have some play throughout the trip I’m usually ok. In all seriousness I’m due for a big winning trip though haha. I’m like 0-6 in my last six trips.
    4) Sickness - this is the only thing that really kills it for me. My last trip, both my wife and I️ caught some stomach bug day 1. You know what’s super romantic? Sharing a 1 bathroom hotel room with your significant other and just taking turns just trading places. Instead of sipping on wine and spending some quality time in the room we were chugging Pepto and asking housekeeping for more TP...seriously sexy. Our next offer from the Cosmo was very generous because we did all of our gambling there due to not wanting to be more than an elevator away from our private bathroom...maybe that’s all part of their plan. Haha

Anyway, I️ really focus on trying to enjoy my time and just relaxing. Life’s too short and we work too hard to let little shit “ruin” our limited time on vacation.

Why do you wonder why people are shocked by that?

Playing next to someone who is slapping or beating up the poker buttons. SOOOOO disrespectful!
Then we complain when the buttons don't work properly.

I am not saying it's not sad, just that there is a shooting in the "inner city" almost every night. (Late night) So the young children should not be out at those hours of the night. I am truly sorry if I got anyone upset. Sorry I took this off subject.
