Carolina peaked one game too soon, just like the Pats did agin the chiefs, Steelers agin the bungals, Seahawks, and Chiefs versus Texans. The only team that has not played a great game and peak in all 3 phases? ......... Denver Broncos 30-24 super bowl winners..

lol is pphold the NFL betting mush?!

I am still leaning Denver and the under.

Carolina's strength at RB/OL is somewhat negated by the stout Broncos DL. I also feel like Denver will have a plan to spy Cam and make sure he doesn't break contain. They canget creative with their front 7 because their secondary is capable of playing man up for awhile. They don't need to drop a safety in the box too often. Plus the Panthers WRs aren't world beaters so the Harris/Talib duo should be able to handle biz.

Here's my problem...the Denver running game and Peyton. The DEN running game because it has been hit or miss this year and that CAR defense is stout. Although the loss of old man Jared Allen and a one armed Thomas Davis does weaken them a tad. Although Short and Kuechly and others have been ballin'.

Peyton worries me because when I bet against him and his snot nosed brother I lost. When I bet on Peyton finally (against SEA) I lost. So no logic on that other than its obvious the Manning's hate me.

A tough game to pick but I am still leaning Denver.

Hmmm, your name is broncofn for god sakes! Of course you have a gut feeling. Lol.. Kidding aside as you know I'm with you! Made a lot of money (for me) on the money line and taking the points last game so why not pound them in the SB. I too got killed in 2014 but I'm a glutton for punishment!

The Manning brothers are 5-1 against Brady in AFC Championship and Superbowl games.
On the other hand, Brady has 4 SB wins to 3 for the Mannings.

If you're going to take Denver, I'd take the under as well. Denver isn't going to win unless the D keeps the scoring to a minimum.

Well Denver truly would be peaking if they scored 30 points considering that they only scored 30 twice all season, and that was with a defensive TD against the Chiefs to score 31, and an OT TD against the Pats to score 30.

    I think it'll be a fun game.

I would love to see Peyton win another championship but this is really lining up well for the Panthers. The Broncos can't depend on turnovers against the Panthers with Peyton throwing 175 yards to win a Super Bowl.

The line yesterday was Panthers -4.5 at the Aria before I left. I should have taken it. It's already gone up some places.

I'm thinking of teasing the Under from 45 to 52, and parlaying this with Denver +11.5.

It is hard to not play the overs in this game. A tease the other way and getting this to 38. This would have won 15 lost 3 with 2 pushes in the last 20 Super Bowls. The only games to not cover 38 points has involved a Belecheat defense.

A big reason is the advantages the offenses have do to several long delays in the game. The defenses have a tough time getting in a flow early and after halt time due to all the festivities. SB=big plays!

betting the unders also eliminates the fun of enjoying a shoot out or OT game.

I am playing the Broncos with the Overs.

I would also suspect it has something to do with neither team owning a homefield advantage in the Super Bowl. Most people are there simply for the spectacle.

But, combined, both defenses are giving up an average of around 37.6 ppg.

That doesn't mean I'm not advocating for either side of the total though.

If you feel like Denver defense offers something that Seattle or Arizona defense didn't, then you bet the under. Their defensive stats are very similar in allowing 19 vs 18 points per game. The only thing of concern this game is Thomas Davis will be out but Jared Allen and Shaq Thompson are more than capable of filling his role.

If you feel that Carolinas #1 offense at 31 ppg is too much for Denver to handle, you bet the over.

No problem, I get it. Rooting for a losing team year after year has that effect on you.
