Holy crap I remember when this came out. There was a 50s diner next to the movie theater we’d go to every Friday. The diner had a full arcade with this. Almost 30 years ago and I remember this.

 

Great trip report showing all kinds of stuff you can do that will keep you away from the tables/machines. I couldn't do it. Well, I do do it in small doses, just not as a trip. Thanks for showing the pics of these places.

After Glittering Lights; we drove over here to Palms to play a $20 in the “Shark Bar”
And have a drink..holding are own with full houses; getting cocktails (Diet Pepsi for kris as she’s driving)

 

I had a hard cider with a shot of fireball inside it and it gave me a good buzz

 

Haha it’s funny that this is supposed to be a countach but they never made a “turbo” version; so I think they were thinking of a Lotus Espirit “turbo”...

 

We came back to PS and has the “graveyard” buffet for $8 each..it wasn’t bad...breakfast items and salad with some random things thrown in (fried catfish and hush puppies, along with Gouda max&cheese)

 

That's an Angry Balls....a good drink to get the evening going!

Very cool pictures and stuff. But I wouldn't get on a plane to Vegas just to see that and not gamble. From all your previous trip reports of crazy gambling, Cosmo rooms and great food, to an $8.00 buffet? Seriously???
