I think we were looking at Jul 9 Chelsea Cabana rates and they may have been $2500 .
IDK, according to P, will check again.
I guess it was for a big one (7 people), on a Saturday, so kind of lines up with those Mon rates.

Well at least you get 2500 in food and drinks rather than just a rental fee. Maybe champagne should be in order?

Are there different sizes, because now it's up to $950 for a cabana for the end of May.

just for another price comparison, Jul 9 Boulevard lower Cabana , $3k, ~$4k after fees.
We're going to need more overpriced champagne? :drunk:

Day of week and events drive many of these prices.

Prices for this year have been astronomical. I've been watching everyday for the past few months. Even when they first opened up the reservations, they have been through the roof. We usually plan a daybed/cabana day for one day of our trips. This year, that tradition looks like it won't continue.

My experience last year when we were booking at Aria for July, during less busy times, was that prices didn’t dip all season. They were the lowest in the spring when we booked, I checked periodically as we got closer, and prices were consistently higher each time.

I agree with others, book when you find the right location for the right price, don’t wait in hopes of finding a better deal. Or book something you can cancel if you do find something better, but I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for a last minute deal.

If I get a daybed/pod at mgm, can I let the lyft/uber/taxi drop us off at the wet Republic entrance? I don't love how large the resort is.

One of the Cosmo pool is MUCH quieter than the other (someone here will know which) - so make sure to book the pool thats fits your plan for the day - Nice and Relaxing or Off the charts crazy.....

Chelsea pool is the quieter pool. Boulevard pool is more of a party scene.

I booked my wife and her gang at Resorts World's pool for a Friday in May. It was $200 + $40 fees + $200 F/B min for a cabana. Much cheaper than anything else on the Strip - Flamingo and the like wanted $600, and even dumpier ones wanted $300-400 plus a higher food/bev min. it was similar pricing for the infinity pool or the regular cabana pool. Nudge me in a month and a half to tell you what their experience was.

I picked a couple random Saturdays in June and the RW cabana was still only $200, suggesting lower pricing here is the norm due to demand

I'm thinking of getting a daybed for the Memorial Day Weekend (5/27 to 5/29) and am seeing $750+ minimum at Cosmo.
Does this sound about right or is it a ripoff?

I booked a cabana at Venetian back in February for an August trip and the price has already gone up as well as availability disappearing. People are definitely booking the expensive ones as well.

what's the pricing @ MGM? last time we did a cabana rental there (2018 I think?) it was like $800-$1000 for Fri/Sat reservations (and yes, it was 100% F&B at that time)

Yeah, I realize that. Just wondering if the price sounds about right for a busy weekend.

Are either of the Cosmo pools quiet these days? They're building that mall only a few hundred feet away. People in Cosmo rooms that look down on the pools are noting the construction noise.
