    EXCELLENT!

Great trip. I feel relaxed and tranquil just thinking about it...the Mansion that is. Leaving even is also a happy feeling :) :) :)

Shifter and Vegas BJ, I hope 1 day to be where I can at least play in the same area. Great Report and it let's all of us low-rollers live vicariously thru you're trips. Picking up the tab at WP'S was a truly kind gesture and that says a lot about your Integrity and personna. Good :uck in the future and keep the reports coming!

Shifter, We built up $300-$350 a day in express comps and enjoyed ourselves greatly. I cannot imagine what would happen if I built up that many comps!

Damn it! That second shoe, where the player won the fifth time in a row, was what ended my trip.

for those of you looking for VegasBJ's story from this trip, you probably won't get much as it was just a brutal trip for him. it started bad and got worse. he got killed just like i did the first night, didn't gamble the second day and got killed again the third day and headed to bed before i made my epic comeback. there's not much else to say as it was just terrible.

as i mentioned i played a little BJ with him the first night and we couldn't do anything. it was pretty much like that the entire time. every time i was there watching him the dealer would pull a 4 or 5 card 20 or 21 and take his money. he lost pretty much every single big double down and split, which you just have to win to do any good at BJ. i've never seen him run so bad in my life, they didn't even give him a reach around.

Is access to the Mansion "public" casino area on the other side of those fancy doors by the discrete elevator bank? Ventured in elevator area once (noticed & purloined a Mansion matchbox :nono:), but didn't muster up the courage to peek in behind the doors...:shy:

The second image you posted, player went on a run with 6 wins. I moved all in on the bank after the player's third win, and it stayed on player. I think this was the table where if you're coming in from the mansion, its the first one you see on your left. *THAT* was the end of my epic comeback :nono:

    gluten free?

great tr. can't wait to be at the encore at the end of may.

a little off the subject of epic comebacks but i noticed you said your wife needed a gluten free diet. my wife does also, what a huge pain in the butt when we are eating out.

do you know of any restaurants in vegas that offer a gluten free menu?

seems chicken/steak and a baked potato is all we can ever find.

congrats on the comeback....makes a guy want to go back. i had one four day trip like that where i lost half my bankroll in four hours the first night. got it all back day 2. floated around even day three. lost it back in four hours day four then turned around and got back to even in a short period of time.

Shifter, in addition to short term gamblers remorse (the poor sleep you mentioned!), do you ever suffer from indigestion/heartburn? I can't imagine a roller coaster ride like that: The thrill of victory… and the agony of defeat!!

No that's the VIP lounge. The mansion casino is right between Nobhill and JR near the KA theater.

Naw but I do feel a lot hungrier when I'm doing well. When I'm not doing well I don't want to stop to eat. But if you're making yourself sick gambling you need to back it down to a level you're comfortable at.
