I had not read Chuck's report, so I didn't necessarily take @LB9 's comments as an insult. I mean, I did read some potential snark in the original comments, but I also read them as genuine interest in how or why my reports have so many wins. IMO, its extremely difficult to discern tone in an online post (I have learned that lesson the hard way with failed attempts at sarcasm). So I tend to think the best when people post in my reports. And If LB9 or anyone else thinks my reports are bullshit, well, sucks for you :evillaugh: I will simply say that plenty of other VMBers can confirm the pics of the places I stay are legit. And I'm pretty confident there are others that can confirm the pics of my chips are legit (not to mention a pic of freaking cash wrapped by a bank!). And although I haven't gambled with many VMBers lately (other than one member that requested not identify him or her in a recent TR) there are VMBers that will confirm my level of play. Hell, its a gambling site. If someone really doesn't believe my wins are legit, then let's make it interesting. I will match you dollar for dollar in a third party escrow account and if I can't produce win/loss statements to verify my winnings this year, the money is yours. But when I do produce it, the funds are mine. My reports should make clear that i like low HA bets. And this one is a sure thing :woot:Otherwise, check your skepticism at the door (or just ignore my reports).

But as I said, I think the best in people. If all the posts commenting on my wins are sincere, then good, I hope you enjoyed the ride

I was typing my last post before this one popped up. Consider the issue resolved. Like I said, tone is hard to discern and I don't take offense at anything @LB9 posted, or @Lady Fortuna trying to lookout for other members. We're all on the same page now and let's just hope the TR I intend to write next month is another winner and not a loser

I know you’re a High Roller and don’t think you’re full of shit. I pretty clearly elucidated why I’m interested, specifically in the blackjack component.

Apologies UK for opining, didn’t mean to redirect the report which to be fair, was very well written and the pics afforded a lot of us a perspective that, frankly, we don’t get to see in Vegas. After the response, however, I’ll refrain from posting however. It seems an opinion, albeit a false one, has been made so it probably doesn’t serve anyone for me to comment further, specially as I don’t want to detract from an objectively good TR.

You're fine! No need to apologize or refrain. I should apologize for my prior post (although I would love for someone to take me up on my offer; its easy money :evillaugh:) I hope all of my reports bring some smiles, laughs, and enjoyment to the people who read them. And I appreciate when other people comment or participate in my TRs. So go for it! We're all good

I think he's full of it. He's a Kentucky fan, how could he not be? :evillaugh:

Love the family side of this trip. Good stuff UK

I had a great time following along @UKFanatic and hope I am still around to see Little Fanatic report on his first BJ winning run when he turns 21!

Oh, I'm definitely full of it! Just not about gambling lol. Now, if you want to talk basketball, films pre-2000, tv post-2000, or how best to win at Scategories, I will snob it up with the best of them

Lovely report @UKFanatic! Makes me pumped to go to soon!

Like father like son? Little Fanatic has gone to Vegas even younger than I ever was (my first time was when I was 8 and my parents and grandparents played bacc when Steve Wynn built Mirage)... so dont' be so surprised when he becomes 21.

Well, we did take him to Disney World at age six weeks, right before the pandemic shut every place down. So that comes first, lol. As long as he likes to travel and adventure, its all good. We will have something in common for the remainder of my life

upload_2021-9-4_18-41-11.gif Great trip report @UKFanatic. Really enjoy seeing the high life that can be had in Vegas. I don’t play anywhere near your level but I love reading about your gambling exploits and also love the chip porn. Also, Who doesn’t want to see a big bag of cash! We all dream or leaving Vegas with huge bags of cash after all, that’s part of the allure! Also, I thought you did a great job of De-escalating the situation. I share the sentiment that I hope everybody continues to write as many TR as possible and also comments as much as possible! I only started writing TR’s last year and really enjoy the interaction with other VMB’ers as well. While reading those few posts I couldn’t help but think of Anchorman though.

UK, did you make any NFL bets while there? I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this season.

    Sort of, yes.

Long explanation short: I opened an online sports betting account earlier this year (because my March trip to vegas got cancelled and I still wanted to bet the baseball season). So I have decided to stick with online wagering for all my futures bets. I decided in advance that the amount I am willing to wager on the upcoming season would depend on how well the gambling went during this Mansion trip. Obviously, it went well and in the middle of the trip, I transferred a chunk of cash from my bank to the betting account. I started making a few prop bets while I was out there and have made a couple more since I got home. But all the wagers aren't finished yet (taking the weekend off to enjoy and watch my college wagers). I should finish them in the next couple days and then I will add a coda to this trip report with a list of my wagers and my general thoughts on the season. If you have read my August trip reports from years past, you know that's when I share my NFL analysis and list of bets. So I will keep that tradition alive and list them all before kickoff next week

Might have missed this, but what is replacing the Rabbit? Loved that spot, dynamite Chilean Sea Bass, hopefully new and place is 10x better.

Thanks for the TR and pics. Enjoy seeing the higher stakes action - for better or worse. Glad the trip went well and you had safe travels. It's a crazy world. :drunk:

Very interested in hearing about your take on the Bills... lots of good props (I think) out there for them as far as #1 seed, etc

Sneak preview, I have them in my top five of teams (right now; doubt anything will change in the next few days), but not my top tier of super bowl teams (which is my top 3 or 4). Great roster. But history suggests Allen's performance from last year is not sustainable. Historically, QB's that make incredible leaps in accuracy almost always regress the next season (Lamar Jackson is the most recent example, albeit far from the worst regression). Still, he doesn't need to be 2020 Josh Allen again for them to be really good. They just need him to be better (much better) than 2019 Josh Allen. I don't think he will be 2019 Josh Allen. They should be a playoff team and likely a division winner. And making the super bowl certainly isn't out of the question. I really think there are four teams in the AFC that could make it. It will probably boil down to which of those four teams has homefield advantage
