I hit 5K TCs on 3/29, and got the e-mail for the free night on 4/6. Just passed 10K a couple of days ago, so maybe I will get the next e-mail next week?

just a reminder that the rooms you earned last year carried over to this year, due to covid.

Just FYI, I recently earned my first free night award for this year (the 5k award) and the email I received from Caesar's Rewards says it expires 1-31-23.

Just updating in case anyone is curious. So customer service emailed me about 4 weeks ago and said the issue would be resolved in 6-8 weeks. Yesterday, I got the auto-generated email that others in this thread have posted screenshots of. It contained offer codes for all 4 of my earned free nights (I was at 20,000+ points at the time).

I called Harrahs AC hoping to extend a paid reservation I already booked for September for one Friday night (hoping I could use my free night for that Saturday). This time the phone rep did see the offer in my account (yay!) but said that Saturday was a blackout date (boo!)... so I rearranged my booking to get Friday night free and pay for Saturday.

A lot of hassle for a benefit that can't even be used for a lower-tier hotel on a non-holiday Saturday several months out... but at least I can actually try to use it now

Update: I just received another email from Caesars Rewards and the fine print says the free night awards (both my 5k award and 10k award earned so far in 2021) now expire January 31, 2022 rather than January 31, 2023 as the prior email had inducated. I called Caesars Rewards and the phone rep verified that these awards do now in fact expire January 31, 2022.

So the previous email was either a typo or Eldorado has changed its mind on the expiration dates.

I’m unaware of this 5,000 tier earning. I’m 7* for several years now. Ive been stay at Caesars Palace for my last 7 years - usually 2 trips a year nor lady or this year. Ive stayed several times for more than 5 nights plus several times had an extra room. My usual earning until last year was about 350K tier per year. I’m not sure I live up to the 5k per night, I’m not sure how that rule is enforced. I never low play as I like to put in my 5+ hours a day at VP average 750 hands per hour usually $10 -$15 per hand. I play single line $2 and 3-5 play $1. I’m wondering if I’m over or under comped based on other posts.

I tried to use this when I called yesterday. I have the email with the offer codes. The email was a reminder to not lose a benefit I earned in 2020. Was trying to book a weekend at The Rio in July. They told me the offer was not available for any Friday or Saturday nights at Rio or any other Vegas CET property. I could use it on a Sunday-Thursday, which is already comped on my rate calendar. So I guess another pointless CET benefit…

If you can already get 5 nights comped, they're basically useless. I sometimes stay at CET for 6 or 7 nights, paying for the extra nights, and the only time I ever tried to use those 5K tier nights they told me I couldn't use them to extend a 5 night comp stay.

They're not based on earning 5,000 TCs in a day, you get one for every 5,000 TCs you earn in a year (up to 25,000).

Pretty worthless for many. Seems like a CET ploy to help fill empty rooms during the week while calling it a benefit.
    Mainly benefits a low/slow roller.

The “benefit” is for someone who builds points very slowly by frequent visits to a local casino. Not someone who plays 5000 tier credits a day in LV.

CET trumpets this “valuable benefit” to everyone so that the person thinks they could get a Saturday night comped at Caesars Palace, when in reality there might be one or two Tuesdays in August where they could stay at the Rio.

Once the player gets fixated on going to Vegas, they may well go anyway even if the 5000 point free night offer turns out to be worthless.

i didn't even get an email with these awards
i have earned about 12k tc so should have 2
i emailed them and they send me the codes but nothing was mentioned about expiration dates at all
when i asked they told me my "credits expires after 6 months of inactiviy" which has nothing to do with what i asked

What was the subject of your email with the rewards for tc earned in 2021?

I used one of these about two years ago. I usually get weekends comped but the particular weekend I wanted to go it was something similar to $60 for Friday, $110 for Saturday, and $40 for Sunday for Bally's LV. I called and gave them my offer code. Even though I had several of these free promotional nights available, they only let me use one (for Friday) and stated that Saturday (the more expensive night) was a blackout date. In the end it saved me the $60 but I still had to pay for Saturday and Sunday nights.

Anyone have the definitive info about this benefit? I presume this is different than comped rooms and that those don't count? Like if they gave me 4 nights comped at X, could I then say I want 7 more free nights assuming I earned 35,000 TCs? I don't see them under my account as opposed to the 2 earned Cosmo nights which are like digital little coupons you can visually see in your offers/account.

I just used this last week. The email says you have to call to make the reservation. Unfortunately since each free night is a separate promo code you have to make one reservation for each night and hope the front desk can combine them into one upon check in.

Like you said they are nowhere to be found on my CR account. I can still use my comp room offers on adjacent days.

Has anyone tried using this for a second room, or booking a room for someone else? I can't imagine I'll have an opportunity to use all of mine but would be nice for companion rooms...

I wanted to talk about my experience using my 20k tier credits today to book 4 nights at Caesar's Palace Las Vegas (Sunday-Wednesday). Most of my tier credits were from 5X tier bonuses, so I do not have any comped days at CP. I called 1-800-CAESARS and was told by the first rep that I could not book back to back nights with the offer code. I told him that it was 4 separate offers that needed to be booked back to back. He said his system would not allow it, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. He transferred me to a Diamond rep who was able to book the 4 nights that I wanted in December. I did get 4 separate confirmation numbers, but that's not a big deal. I asked for a room in the Augustus Tower, but was told the offer was only for a Forum Tower room. She put that I would prefer an Augustus Tower room and could ask for an upgrade at check-in. Relatively easy process once I was able to speak with someone who knew what they were doing.

    Thanks!

I received an email from Caesars a few weeks ago reminding me of the 2021 benefits I hadn't yet used.
There are offer codes at the bottom for the free nights, it says call to book.
Might try just calling the booking line to see what they have to say.
