Watching “Design for Living” today. Very funny and clearly pre-code. Such great clothes and I love the bohemian apartment!

Another hilarious old one is “All At Sea” with Alec Guinness - haven’t laughed that much in a long time!

I am currently watching this. The characters certainly aren’t endearing but I am enjoying it.

    HBOMax
Zack Snyder cut of Justice League
    1st hr is a slog
Remaining 3 hrs (yes you read that right) are much better
Epilogue makes me pine for a continuation I doubt will ever come

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
1 ep out of 6 in total season
    Enjoyed much more than anticipated

Yesterday, I was watching Zack Snyder's directors cut of Justice League on HBOMax. It's a loooooooooong movie at 4 hrs, but is well worth watching. I won't post any spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet. LOL I have to check out Falcon and the Winter Soldier when I have more free time.

I just binge watched Calls on AppleTV+. It’s well acted & riveting. The format is very creative & makes you focus on the talents of the actors.

The Snyder Cut is very much worth the 4 hour investment (took us 5.5 hours as we took little breaks). This makes the Whedon version look even worse, which is pretty bad already. So much more character depth and better storytelling. It's a shame we're never going to see the rest of the Synder-Verse but then again, we never thought we'd see the Snyder Cut either.

For those who are interested, he did an interview with GQ and details a little of what we would have seen in the next Justice League

I downloaded the first 3 shows from both Humans and Upload via Amazon Prime for the flight to/from Vegas.
After arriving back home, I binged watch all 3 seasons of Humans and the only 1 season of Upload.

My copy of “Better Call Saul” season 5 came in, so I’ll be watching that. I’m gonna be sad when I’m done with this but I suppose I’ll just watch it again, really love it.

I watched the Night Stalker documentary on Netflix and it really creeped me out. It was ages ago but it still made me double check the door before I went to bed.
However it was fascinating seeing the investigation from the perspective of the investigators and victim’s families and didn’t spend too much time on the creep. I feel it isn’t great to make the killers into celebrities.

We just finished all 12 seasons New Tricks on Prime. A British detective series with a comedic touch, about retired detectives who are brought back on the force to solve old cases. No, we didn't binge, we watched maybe one or two every couple of nights for the last several months. It's in English, so we needed captioning! :D

That was a good show. Try Line of duty or DCI Banks if you want to continue the English Thread. Keep at it and you won't need subtitles.

Wasted 2 hours of a Saturday night (including pause time) watching "The Vast of Night" It had potential but couldn't pull it off imo.

    Seaspiracy on Netflix.

I know I'm probably not the target audience as I already made the decision to remove animal products from my life but. A lot of this information I had already known but there's still a lot of it that was new to me and the end result was being angry and upset.
