    I completely read/pasted that wrong.

Somehow I had misread it and thought that there was a US remake of the original "Train to Busan"

This film was very controversial back in the day, an unmarried couple sharing a bed, they had to put a curtain in between to pass the censors.

I have never heard my wife laugh out loud as much, she loves this show. As for me, I’m on my iPad when she’s watching the series.

The Star "channel" was added to Disney+ today for those of us outside the US. A lot of great content across all genres was added from ABC, FX, 20th Century Fox, Touchstone, etc... This will keep me busy for awhile / when not watching something new.

Just saw “Nomadland” on Hulu. I read the book a few years ago. Movie seems very different but I enjoyed both.

My GF dragged me kicking and screaming into watching “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” on Amazon Prime. So glad she did; it’s hilarious and has a great supporting cast.

I’m watching “Tell Me Your Secrets” on Prime. The story is really disturbing & I hate pretty much every character. But...I can’t stop watching it. It’s well written, the acting is strong & it’s riveting.

I planned to work out in my garden -- getting the beds ready &**#$%*Texas weather. Drizzly. I know I had all the dvds of the Tony Hillerman movies based on his book produced by Robert Redford. I know that my husband is responsible for their disappearance although he denies it. Granted it has been many years since I have watched them. YouTube has at least one of them hopefully all of them. And I will order them again if I can find them.

The cinematography is excellent. Plus Wes Studi and Adam Beach really bring the roles to life if you are a HIllerman fan. My husband has well over 200 dvds at least if Arnold, Bruce, Sylvester, etc every action movie old westerns, new westerns etc. he's got it.

Getting ready to watch Thief of Time right now.

I added this to my list after seeing a trailer for it. Seems like something I would enjoy. Is it comparable to anything else?

I've been watching The Mandalorian on Disney. It is quite good. It reminds me of the old 30 minute serials, like Flash Gordon or Tarzan. And you really don't need to know anything about the other Star Wars movies.

Psychological thriller. Maybe Silence of the Lambs is the closest but Tell Me Your Secrets is still different.

I just binged Pretend It's a City on netflix. I *never* binge - books or tv - since I prefer variety I just don't watch/read more than one in a series in a row. But today I did. Laughing my ass off the entire time. Might only appeal to a small segment of the population, but that's my demographic, apparently ;-)

Just finished "Douluo Continent". (Soul Land)
    I'm so sad it's over!!!

This is a little outside my normal preference.
    (It's Martial Arts/Fantasy/Romance.)
It was a bit strange at times, but I ended up getting really sucked in to it.

The ML was previously known for "The Untamed", which was also a very good series. (Very visually striking)
I never read "Dou Luo Da Lu" (Soul Land) by Tang Jia San Shao, but this adaptation was great.
I guess there's 6 books in the Manga series and this drama cover just the first book.

Reminds me - My next recent favorite that is in a similar genre was "Bloody Romance"

    Coming 2 America - Prime

At best it was ok, very generic
15 mins in and I started to multi-task.

Dikembe cameo brought me back enough to pay a bit more attention.

Finished watching the first season of Mr. Mercedes last night on Peacock. I am not a Stephen King fan. I know he has done more than just the horror books/movies. Back in the day I watched the first "It" -- Clowns have always creeped me out - and I do not like horror movies. I did enjoy Mr. Mercedes because it is more of thriller/crime. Although there were some very disturbing parts. Seems like ever since CSI had to make every crime scene corpse juicy and realistic it has become the status quo.

As I get older and get to the "Get off my lawn" age it is nice to see main characters reflect my generation. -- not the killer-- of course.
