Lunch was perfection. Just perfection. I am unfortunately stuffed and my massage is in 45 minutes. Nice problem I know to have.

Heading up for a shower and then a long massage. I learned that if the masseuse doesn't mind doing it that you can book more than one massage together to have a longer one than is advertised. I am craving relaxation but this masseuse knows my body very well and she will work out all of the kinks and knots that I feel are all over!

Will do some unpacking after that before Sinatra on the patio at 5:30 and then getting my gamble on and hope major winning around 7 tonight! So I may be offline until then.

Thanks everyone for all of the great wishes and also advice. @DaiLun, I like your idea of spreading the free play out but I am too impatient for that. Lol. My hope is that I win on it tonight and that it covers my bankroll for the next few days with some left over to deposit in the bank tomorrow or on Monday. :headbang:

It may wind up being a complete bust but I am thinking positively!!

I'm unironically less scared of casinos in the midst of all this because they have adults plaing nanny on people who cant figure it out. I'm not making good progress so far. I left my house at 1215PM EST, and I'm still in Dallas waiting for a delayed flight to Burbank. At this rate I wont make it to Vegas until Sunday!

But alas! All is not lost! I just feel ... exposed in this airport. Been here 3 and a half hours already and still waiting on them to find us a working plane we can board. Were on opane number 3 currently were supposed to be wheels up already and havent started boarding, but we've all run down the hallways from gate to gate in a way that very much reminded me of the opening scene of Airplane!

My massage by Nicole Z was as glorious as ever. Actually, that does not really do her or the experience justice. She is my masseuse and mini psychiatrist to boot. I am mentally well but well, the person who regularly massages your naked body for two hours over the years you get to know and trust. I feel like she is my therapist sister. She is such a lovely and spirited person and our individual positive energies bounce off of each other. We almost cry happy tears when we see each other. She is the best at what she does but everything else is just lots of icing on the cake.

As I was walking out I made an appointment at the Wynn Salon for a mani/pedi in the am.

It was 5 pm and I had a robe on with oil from the massage in my hair and had a reservation for Sinatra at 5:30 but I showered again and dressed and got there about 5:40 so all was well and I felt like I was back at home, with the most wonderful executive chef, sommelier, manager and wait staff. Fine dining but completely unpretentious fine dining.

I am out on the patio on a perfect night. There is a warmer next to me that is just right.

Started off with a Sinatra Smash of course. There's a great collection of breads but I just had one as I am still kind of full from lunch. I tried the fennel and fig bread, which was fantastic. The butter has "basil blossoms" in it. What a frickin invention. That butter with the fennel and fig bread (and there was a LOT of fig in there) was sublime. I haven't felt that about bread in a long time. Lol.

I am not a truffle fan but as white truffles were in season I figured I would try the pasta and white truffles appetizer after the octopus (first time for me) amuse bouche. It was paired per MY FAVORTE SOMMELIER ANYWHERE Sean with a champagne. Executive Chef Theo did the truffle shaving and we had a chance to chat a bit. Love him.

And I am enjoying a Barolo with the Milanese that just arrived. What a heavenly day this has been.

For my main course I am having the Milanese, which I tried for the first time here when I took the Sinatra Master class as that was one of the dishes being prepared.

Sorry, that is not the Barolo but instead a Tuscan Sean thought I should try. I love it.

@Flowers - I just love your reports. Such interesting detail. I have a wine app, so I take a pic of your wine photo (thanks for the closeup!). It rates that red very highly ... it must have been delicious!

Good luck and I'm looking forward to reading more.
