Awesome report so far Flowers and thanks for all the beautiful pictures of food and the suite. You’re gonna love that Encore Parlor Suite as well! Can’t wait to see the rest of your trip and a whole bunch of handpays!

Flowers, In my next life I want to come back as you! I LOVED your last report and I’m so excited that you’re back. I feel transported to Vegas, which Is so great because I won’t be able to go for a while. Thank you for all the detail you provide.

Question about the red wine- I’m always looking for new ones. Did that Toscana have a pretty dry finish? I love hearty, dry reds.

Have a truly wonderful time, be safe, and WIN WIN WIN!

@Flowers, your trip reports are always amazing. Thank you for taking the time to provide such wonderful details and pictures.
The service with Mint is incredible. I recently flew business class on Westjet’s Dreamliner and they scaled back the service to a pre-packaged box lunch.
I look forward to the rest of your report

    Good late morning Las Vegas!

The windows were reflecting the sun too much so no photos of the golf course this am. I instead took a photo through the floral-designed sheers, which I love.

Just wrapped up a gel manicure and now I am getting my hideous feet fixed up with a super relaxing pedicure while sipping champagne.

Last night gambling was so so but would have been better if I had gone to bed at 2 am rather than 4 am, as there was slow bleeding through most of that two hour period. But, I had about a 90% conversion with my free play early in the evening on five play dollar TDB UX. No big hits when I first washed through but a had a lot of steady hands.

After I washing through I am now playing with what is now my money and things went south very quickly as I was playing $50 a hand. And then I dropped a pair, held three to a royal and a dollar royal popped up, although with no multiplier. I'll take it though, especially as these were winnings from the results of my free play.

I played on the Encore side, which was very quiet, even on a Friday night. Not great for business but for those of who want to play at Wynncore and want minimal people around, Encore when it is open is your place! I had a chance to chat with the slot attendants and security, with everyone wishing me many handpays over the next 10 days. :)

I gave some of that back and then decided I wanted a bit more energy and I wanted to play the super volatile but super fun UX Bonus Deluxe in TDB and a bit of hot roll VP. The only two machines in all of Wynncore are in Wynn and I wanted a Friday night vibe -- though it still wasn't crowded -- so I headed over to Wynn.

In short, playing 25 to 50 a hand for hours did not go well. You think things will change but sometimes they just don't, which is how casinos get built and operated and employees get paid. Lol. It was pretty bad and I then had to dip into the bankroll I brought that I didn't want to start using until Sunday....
More brutality but then from literally 12:01 am until about 2:15 am I had a number of hits. See below. Happy about those but really frustrated by the half dozen times I was dealt trip Aces, 2s, 3s or 4s, often with big multipliers, and playung five to ten hands and not connecting, even once. :wink2::grrr::wink2:

But, here are my handpays, and one nice hit for $1000. I had 2 or 3 of these but forgot to take some photos.

Brutality kicked in after these and I should have gone to bed but first-night-back-in-Vegas degeneracy kicked in so I was up way too late. I now have that out of my system! Lol. All in all, not a super great night because of my lack of discipline but it wasn't bad.

I stopped at the desk before heading up and asked for a double wake up call as a back up to my phone alarm and crashed hard for about 3 and half hours when a text awakened me.

I got up around 7:45 and figured I would take a super quick shower and would be out by 8 to pick up the phone for my 8 am wake up call but I was so enjoying the shower that I was in there past 8.

I share all of this because of what happened next.

Around 8:07, the phone rings and I figured it was the front desk calling again as I asked for a double wake up call of 8 and 8:15. Instead, it was hotel security calling to make sure everything was okay as I had not responded to the first wake up call and I think they may have called twice.

Wow. I was stunned, in a good way. Wynn security is not playing around. I apologized profusely and said I was fine and was in the shower too long. For the second time Wynn transportation and security were focused on "where is Ms. X." It is a reminder of what I sometimes say to my mother when she tells me a few times before every solo trip to be careful. Yes, I am, but I also tell her when I am here, especially on property, it is one of the safest places for me to be anywhere.

I am glad I had this experience as it makes me feel even better about Wynncore and also gives me greater comfort for upcoming trips (I hope) with my mother in case she is ever in distress.

I was still full from dinner so break this morning was a few slices of the amazing fig and fennel bread with the basil blossoms butter. ❤❤❤❤ It was so soft and good and tasted just as good as it did last night. There is a LOT of fig in this bread. It is so yummy.

I haven't yet touched my amenity from yesterday, which is in the mini refrigerator. I figure I can enjoy over the next couple of says for a midday snack.

    Pedicure is almost finished.

Heading to MAG in about a half hour for brunch with @dbueler and enjoy the strip sights, which never get old.

I may take a power nap at some point or power through some play this afternoon ;) before an early dinner at Piero's and then the 8 pm comedy show featuring Fluffy aka Gabriel Iglesias!

    Wishing everyone a great day!

Hi @Echo27. I LOVE wine but am not a connoisseur so am not the best at describing wines though I would say though that it did NOT have a very dry finish but I liked it a lot and think you would too!

Flowers, I am going to be really mad if you do not come home with a six figure win. No pressure!

Love the adventure so far! I love that white truffle fettucini -- that is an extremely generous shaving. :feedme: Love the flowers in your room and the manicure and the flight and the -- okay, I like everything, heh. And it's such a small side thing, but isn't that walk-in closet great? Especially for multi-day stays. Will keep my fingers crossed for a good win!

Nice VP porn so far @Flowers.:clap::clap: Quick question for you: Since you mentioned that you were playing at the Encore, do you know if their casino will be open during the weekdays when the hotel is closed? Thx.

Keep on keeping on and I'm definitely locked in on this TR. Can't wait to see all that follows....

If you end up not needing your suite next month, may I borrow it for a few days during my trip? :D

Agree 100% about the walk in closet. You have heard enough about my tiny NYC apartment. The closet is small by home standards for many of you but I'd kill to have this at home.

In a hotel room? Well, it is just another drop the mic aspect to the suite.

I cannot wait to have my mom join me in 2021 in one of these suites.

Hey Mike, I am pretty sure that unfortunately the entirety of Encore is closed when the hotel is closed, including the casino. I think it is literally roped off Monday afternoon but I will check.

Next week though Encore opens back up on Wednesday, which is when I am moving over there. That makes sense as it is Thanksgiving week.

I will be ending my trip next week with the Grazie Gifts event next door. You're still overlapping with GG, right?

In a bit of a food coma now post MAG. The wait for patio seating was 30 minutes so I scratched that. I asked for, and was able to obtain, that was in the front near the entrance to the patio so we got fresh air and were also able to see the fountain show.

I will say that the rest of the restaurant inside seemed WAY too crowded. I was shocked. I don't know what the regulatory limit is but it felt, at a minimum, 75 to 80% packed. I felt okay where we were but honestly, unless I am seated outside on the patio I think I will be passing on MAG until I get the vaccine.

Photos. Sorry the lighting doesn't bring out their full beauty. :) I ask for extra blueberry sauce and cream and also a side of regular maple syrup.
