In Block 16, are people being decent about spacing 6 ft apart in lines? I will totally tell someone who is too close to back off, so I hope so. Maybe they have those dots on the floor? I might bring a cane if it's a problem lol. Serious about my space!

Thanks for all this detail @neuroboy - this is all great information! We have a room there all 5 nights of my upcoming trip and this makes me feel a little better. I was a little concerned about lack of safety + crowds there after some of the videos I saw from the first few days. Does still seem to me like a lot of casinos arent taking it too seriously. Not surprised to hear Bellagio is doing well; definitely staying there my first night. That was our same experience in Biloxi, where a couple places seemed to be doing the bare minimum legally required to open their doors, but our little mini-Bellagio had plexiglass at table games, hand washing stations with scalding hot water, hands free sanitizer machines everywhere, and a much larger number of customers in masks.

The one thing about the cosmo - there was almost no social distancing when it came to waiting in line.

Cashier line, waiting at the chandelier bar - people were right next to each other. You could easily avoid this, but not if you were waiting in line.

At block 16, they make you check in at the front and will ask you where you are going. If you want to go to pok pok - they’ll let you right in. For places that had a “line” they would make you wait outside until they were ready to take your order. Maybe about two or three people in “line” at a time.

Any changes with housekeeping? Is it still automatically provided daily, or only upon request?

Housekeeping still the same, coming around twice a day.

Help me understand...so if I want to sit at the bar and chandelier and play video poker I have to stand in line? What if I want to visit my favorite bartender on the 2nd floor? Line to sit alone at the bar?

I'd add that MGM is being pretty responsible -- they do not require masks at blackjack tables (though many were wearing them), but there are also plexiglass barriers between players and in front of the dealers, so it's a little less critical. There are signs at the craps and roulette tables stating that masks are required. Basically, if there's not plexiglass, you need a mask.
Yeah, I've heard the same thing from a few drivers, both taxi and Uber/Lyft. The ones who are out there are people who've said they basically like getting out of the house. More than a couple have told me that if things start to get busier, they'll probably stay home, for safety reasons.

I tried to get chicken at Hattie B’s Monday around 2PM, line was about 10 deep. No one there directing the traffic, just a line along the outer wall of their kitchen. Said screw it and got take out tacos across the hall.

Cosmo’s website shows only level 1 of the Chandelier is open. Any idea when the other levels might open?

BOTTOM OF THE CHANDELIER (LEVEL 1)
A high-energy spot in the middle of it all that transcends the notion of the classic casino bar.

INSIDE THE CHANDELIER (LEVEL 1.5 - TEMPORARILY CLOSED)
With every detail carefully considered, this sophisticated sanctuary offers fine, hand-crafted cocktail for the true experience seeker.

TOP OF THE CHANDELIER (LEVEL 2 - TEMPORARILY CLOSED)
An inviting lounge that showcases the splendor of The Chandelier, giving guests a glimpse into the mystique and magic of the world within.

The entrances were all roped off so you had to stop at the host stand, and she would direct groups to tables.

When I said I was going to play at the bar, she waved me through. I never experienced a line to sit at the bar, but I also didn’t go Friday or Saturday night there as there was no mask/distancing at all when it was crowded. Any other time, no problem.

Oh that’s a stone cold bummer. Kate is one of my favorite bartenders in town, but she works on level two.

Is there a secret handshake or saying to get a drink on level 1? I was playing this past Monday And not one bartender came up to get my drink order. When one finally came over, he was really nice but he was there the whole time I was. The machine printed out two tickets by the time I ordered a drink

It was around 1/2PM when I got there

I just pull out $5, and slowly put it in the cup making sure they see me — always get a drink order placed within a minute of sitting down.

As of yesterday, June 18 at 10am, all people at the tables must wear masks... in saying so there were a few dealers who were really pissed off that masks at tables are not enforced and twice from different dealers said that the company doesn't care about them. It kinda kills the vibe at tables when they say such things, but I totally understand why they are weary.
