What kind of bar are you looking for and in what location? Strip? Downtown? Off Strip? One with a view? One with a vibe? Best cocktails? Dark bar? Tiki Bar? The options are kind of endless. Being more specific will get you better answers.

Dino’s is fantastic, though I would nominate The Golden Tiki as best local bar near the strip.

Looks like Stage Door, right across the street from the Bally's sports book entrance is open. It is a bit of old Vegas with relatively cheap drinks. I remember you used to able to get a shot of Jager for like $2, but those days may be over.

So in places like Carnival Court is it just the bar parts that are open while keeping the dance floor closed or are they going forward with the live entertainment aspect, dj's, etc?

currently they are closed monday-tuesday, i think wednesday also...current entertainment is the Whip-its only on Friday,Saturday and Sunday...they perform with mask on, stage is roped off several feet, chairs positioned in the dance area, no dancing.

mask required, reomove, drink or puff cigarette, put back on

Love some of these for getting wasted in a safe environment (?).
However, I would suggest a mid-level bar with some sophistication. If a bar where let’s drink til we’re done,
    Those can always be had.
Entering the legal age doesn’t mean you have to get loaded day 1. Maybe.
    Plenty of days ahead.

I also vote for the Golden Tiki. Happy hour deals run from 4-7 every day. Some drinks are only $6. They have dole whip!

    best advice!
alcohol is a drug. alcohol tolerance builds up over time.
Young drinkers can't and shouldn't drink like experienced drinkers.
Many stupid college age kids believe they can drink as much as they want on their 21st birthday and die of alcohol poisoning.

There are still sit-down places that are open (e.g., Lift Bar and Lobby Bar at Aria), but no walk-up bars, and you have to get food.
