Congrats on your great craps session! I’ll be curious to see if the minimums go up after the game. I’m surprised they are only $10 based on what I’ve heard.

Ok. This is fun!! I’ve made a pal of the Park bartender. I lost on VP but had a good run. I’m up for the day, have had an excellent meal, two great beers, an awesome old fashioned, and a record win at craps. Man, this is VACATION!

Seriously, good times. Also, I love Nomad. This is the first hotel in I don’t know how many years where I just kind of want to hang out in the room. I may be spoiled for anything less!

Nice win at Craps! Glad to hear about the room too, Mrs. Bourbon and I may need to try NoMad next time!

I like what I’m hearing so far!
Also please share any vegan spot/option tips, we’re bringing one in soon. I think she’s also gluten free that’s not easy.

Sounds like a great time! NoMad looks great. That tub isn’t jetted is it? No matter, still love the location of it. Keep the wins coming!

B2873AA2-5AAB-4F15-A094-1850D9DDD7EA.jpeg Lovely cold morning here! The NoMad bed and pillows are nice! Very comfortable.

I had an early craps session. Only $10 tables but I know what to do there now. Played a while with one hot shooter and a few just ok. Dice got to me when I was ready to leave so I passed them. Left with my buy in back and six bucks extra. Tipped the dealers but unfortunately most of those bets lost. Sorry no chip pics!!

Now having my usual simple Eataly breakfast.

I think I’m going to walk up to Cosmo and get a players card. I’ve avoided it so as not to miss out on a new player offer I wouldn’t be able to take advantage of. But I think I’ve got a good chance for another trip before summer. We’ll see.

    Dinner tonight will be MAG.

I was definitely getting rates-the pit boss asked how long I was staying and was very personable. That was nice but also weird-I’m not used to being noticed for gambling!

@Uncle Bourbon , definitely put NoMad on your list for a couple trip. I sent the family a video of the room, and my husband said, “Why didn’t you take me to a place that nice?” I kindly pointed out that I took him to a place that was free :D! I’m here on a casino rate not a comp.

I blew my entire day’s slot budget at Cosmo over a couple of hours. No interesting wins -best was a minor fu babies jackpot on Dancing Drums. So much losing!

I still have table games and VP budgets left so there can still be some gambol! Although, craps here at Cosmo is $15 min which is too rich for me + the math is harder.

At District for a donut before I hit Chandelier for some VP.

... I tried a reel slot that I thought was the Double Diamond one folks like. It was...confusing. Couldn’t tell why I won when I won or why I lost when I lost. Not really fun. Maybe it was the wrong machine.

Also, my dear Sherlock at Cosmo has been replaced by some reel slots and my Dragons at Park replaces with these weird Leprechauns.

Is this decor or a garbage can?? I put my recycling in it!

Sorry the pictures are out of order. Hard to edit on the phone.

Played VP at Chandelier. Drank mocktails and ended up ten bucks after about being up and down. No quads so no photos.

Not a single drink ticket printed for me. Chandelier will be a one and done bar for me. I guess I play slowly-I’m always worried I’ll miss a straight or flush draw so I double check a lot of my plays.

No hope of getting the free welcome buffet. After all the play I gave, I’m at about 100 points and it’s 500 for the new player buffet offer.

At Aria near the players club.

Each of those sounds beyond unique and amazing. The combination must have been extraordinary. Did the latte and donut taste as good as they sound like they would?

IMO, YES, because you can play one coin if you want. The payout for one coin is exactly half the payout for two. My first big hit almost 30 years ago was on mechanical version of this machine and I was playing one coin at a time (literally inserting a dollar coin).

But, there may be better older machines that are still mechanical where you might get more the second highest payout (whether playing one coin or two). About that I am not sure.

@Flowers , yes the treat from District were delightful. The lavender latte was a winner for sure.

    Thanks so much.

I already have very detailed plans for my mega trip with my mom, friends and nieces in April. On one day post lunch at Milos I have on the schedule to get a Lavender Latte. :)
