    Aarrrrgh, my eyes!

I saw those guys downtown the last time I was in vegas. I always see the guy downtown.

I don't mind seeing the topless and nearly naked women but not nearly naked guys. But then I didn't want to see the nearly naked 80 something lady, that was sad.

Yeah, I was there this past May, and the weather guys on TV were talking about how rainy the year had been. They'd had a little over 7 inches for the year, and 9 for the year is their average. It rains about 40 inches a year where I live, and I ballparked Vegas rainfall at about half that. Never dreamed they averaged so little. I know it's the desert, but.....

Ok, there are two reasons NOT to go downtown.

That's one of the many reasons I prefer MSS – I skip the FSE freak show altogether!

Average annual rainfall for Las Vegas is just a little over 4” according to U.S. Climate Data as well as various other weather sites.

I remember the first convention I attended there .It felt like I should leave a trail of breadcrumbs to find my way out.

Yes! There were a couple of the seminar rooms where you had to go UP from roughly the buffet area, then walk over a bit, and DOWN again to the main level. I don't believe there was a direct route (other than maybe fire exits) to and from that area on the main level.

The escalators were both broken, AND the elevator was broken. You took your life in your hands trying to climb up the stairs( I walk with a cane) with people running up and down the stairs, bumping into the massive crowds of people on said stairs. Absolutely ridiculous!

I was on an escalator once when the power went out. It was almost 2 hours before the power came back on and I could get back down!

Yes but I don’t think I really want to hear what happened in their life that brought them to that career path. I’m sure their parents must be awfully proud of their sons accomplishments...NOT!!! :noangel:

I'm sure that for the appropriate gratuity, they would certainly do so. :)

When we are driving down rural roads going hither and yon I will often get my wife to look when I say “Wow, look at that!!” Or “Look at that cow over there” when it’s peeing or pooping. She always goes ewwww
In vegas it’s those guys. Look at that sweetie.... doesn’t that guy play at the bar (BHB)?....look, we know THAT guy!!
The ewwwws are always louder and more pissy when it works.

How awesome would it be if all of the strip properties rebuilt their casinos on the upper levels so you could just walk around freely? Or at least made upper level entrances like Cosmo and Aria?
