April 1, 1984 ~ Sahara ~ My trip started on the day before the LONG Culinary Strike. No room service. No-little casino restaurants open. Horrid cocktail service. Ant infested first floor room. Let the good times roll!

Second trip: Landmark ~ 1985 ~ where I saw what I am sure were casino supplied working girls for a couple of drinking craps players from Texas. I thought they were girlfriends as the Texans would give them a couple of chips when they hit a good number for the girls to bet. The girls would bet a small denomination and go south with the green chips. The corker was when one of the guys asked where she was from, then asked her again for her name. A pit critter gave me the Hairy Eyeball for standing there and taking in the show.

 

200? at Luxor

 

Spring break trip in 1984, stayed at the Sands. Fell in love with that place, stayed there until moving into the " new Aladdin".

 

1988 Sahara. Went downtown and checked out ElCo at the time and thought, "What a dump!" Here I am 30 years later a downtowner! Who knew! I remember being blown away by Caesar's Palace. Things sure were different back then.

never had an interest before then , though now I wish I went when opportunities came up in 90’s

 

2000 @ Luxor

 

2000 @ the MGM Grand on a family vacation. I was 12, blown away by the place, and I remember this beautiful blonde in a white thong walking past my chair at the pool and thinking "Yep, this is where I'm going to vacation as an adult."

 

1972 - a motel (can't remember the name) probably between Tropicana and Flamingo.

Late 80s/early 90s - Hacienda (where MB is today).

1994, Frontier. It sucked.

Spent most of the time at the Mirage, playing $5 blackjack with paradise rules.

 

2010 (May) stayed at Bally's.
