It sucked. What happened to MSS's buffet? I just realized I could have gotten a great ahi tuna salad at 777. DOH!
That makes this a double-Doh trip so far. No more downtown buffets. But they're free. No. No. No!

I was at the speakeasy at the Mob Museum. It was fantastic and needs it's own thread, which I'll post. An amazing place!

OMG! Three weeks in Vegas??? I'm jealous. And exhausted just thinking about it. I'll be in town 10/8 - 10/19 - downtown for most of it. Hopefully will see you at the Cosmo meetup - if not before. Good luck with the bankroll management. And the kinky bingo!

That's an impressively long trip. I'm going to be in town for the Summit. Have fun.

MSS buffet has been terrible the last two times I was there. Someone at Boyd has taken the wrong lessons from MGM.

Claim Jumper at Golden Nugget has a wonderful BBQ chicken salad - enough for two meals.

There is a vegetarian restaurant at the container park that has a faux chicken salad that my wife ordered and I ate some of and it is quite tasty. This opinion from someone who seldom eats vegetarian food, except for snacks. Certainly less often than his cardiologist would recommend if he ever bothered to see one.

Also I will take the liberty to once again tout the glories of Las Vegas' Ethiopian restaurant scene which have lots of interesting vegetarian options that both satisfy and facilitate digestion. Will need to exercise your bus pass for that, since most of them are in spring valley.
My usual favorite is Merkato but I think I had some delicious creamed spinach at Asmara.(caveat: people smoke hookahs at Asmara indoors)

I posted about the amazing experience I had at 'Speakeasy at The Mob Museum' under LV Nightlife. If you're downtown it's such a 'must experience' thing. You'll be so glad you did. I was there on a Saturday night and the place was intimate and hopping. [IMG][IMG][IMG]

Gambling. I've been here 2 days gambling my butt off. Vp has been sooo bad. 3 quads in tons of play. I sunk $500 into $.25 DDB STP triple play. Never scored a quad. Straight down.
Craps has been better. Holding my own mostly at MSS and GG. Got the CW to bring me a very healthy JWBlack.

Net: -$425 (includes about $100 in tips drinks and food) which is within budget. [IMG]

    Enjoying your report.

I can't see how I would survive three weeks in Vegas...but I do like reading about those who do! Five days is about the limit for me...

    Have fun!

Well, at least you have an audience of fellow insomniacs and their pets.

Oh, that looks so fun! How is the noise level there? I love going out but I like to hear what others are saying in a restaurant or place like this.

Wow. That was a grind. Refuse to allow my fun to become work so I just played what I wanted between vp and craps. Ended up with $55 in fp of which I cashed out $55.
Vp went normal so here's the picture dump:
(I premium quad and one quad at $1 play.)[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Yes, you could talk and have a conversation, but you won't want to.
