"Let's get ready to Rhumba!"- Paris, Wynn, fine dining and a bunch of VMB'ers...

*singing* "My bags are packed and I'm ready to go..." Well, one bag; I travel light. Many thanks to @MikeOPensacola for coming up with the title when I wanted to be a bit cheekier.

Two things: 1) I'm dating myself with that song and 2) Be glad you can't hear me singing.

I've never done a pre-trip before. Here goes nothing.

The obligatory pet-who-doesn't-want-me-to-leave shot:

Um, okay. I don't have any pets, so this pig will have to do. He's about 2" high and a gift from my late mother. We used to perch him on our computer and tried to imagine what he was thinking. What's that, Forlorn Pig? "Please get a huge jackpot!" All righty then....

What's next? Oh, yes. The obligatory bank roll:

Crap. I clearly suck at this. Mz. Retro here better get to her bank before she heads off, because have you seen those ATM charges in Vegas? Sheesh.

Joking aside, I'm off to join up with other VMB'ers, starring @ardee and @MikeOPensacola and perhaps even the queen herself, @Sonya. Mike and I are going to hit a new restaurant for dinner tonight, and there will be slotting. I'm on a reccie for @ardee for Revenge of the Attack of Planet Moolah...or something like that.

There will be fine dining and a bevvy of cocktails. I'm not sure about the Rhumba part but I've been told there may be hula and cross-posting shenanigans involved. You've been warn--I mean, you'll just have to wait and see.
