Was mistaken on the flight month, we took swoop to vegas Nov 23 on their first schedule runs which was at 10:00 in the morning. Maybe they didnt come around with drinks often on your flight down since you were on an evening flight, but it shouldnt make any difference unless you just had lazy flight staff. Hopefully your June swoop flight will have no problem staff, but again I would definitely follow up with swoop.

Breanna- I think you handled this as well as you could and while frustrating to be sure, I probably would have done the same thing but been aggravated to be sure.

Definitely a story down the line to laugh at so I agree with your perspective with what's done is done instead of going apoleptic like someone had suggested. Glad you're home safe and hopefully the next trip is a bit less stressful! I'm sure karma will go your way for being calm under fire!

This must be something happening a lot. Met a few girls at the pool who had flown in and I'm pretty sure they said it was Spirit airlines though, could be wrong but they said they had a connector flight in which they had each had 1 drink on the plane on the first leg. They were made to deboard the plane and they were actually supposed to get right back on the plane as it was heading on to Vegas. When they went to get back on the person checking them in said they sensed they had been drinking too much alcohol and didn't let them board. Luckily for them they found another airline which let them fly with no questions ask and continue to Vegas but 2 hours later than what they were supposed to. Its crazy because we've gotten on planes hammered before and no one's ever said anything but really has me starting to question my ability to continue to do that!

Thank you! What does the tattoo say?

Sorry about your rough trip, but at least it's a good story and nobody went to jail!

I didn't get to see Rob Lowe. I got to Vegas and got sick. Nosebleeds like crazy, ripping headache, puking etc etc. Missed Barry Manilow too. Of the 5 days i was 'okay' for a day and a couple hours. I spent most of the trip on my balcony. I actually got a tan haha. One of my friends saw him at starbucks the next morning though. Of course I missed that too hahaha.
That Swoop story is ridiculous. I have heard a few not good stories and if they ever come to saskatoon, I will not be on any of their flights. I'll pay a bit more to not have to deal with them.

Oh no Fraygul; I am so sorry you were ill. You deserve a do-over Trip. I did keep my eye out for you. That explains why our paths never crossed.

I couldn't figure that out either lol. It's not that big! I did stumble down and gamble still. I did actually have fun, I think. The first couple days are a blur now haha

What a bumpy end to your trip. I'm sorry that happened to you both, but so glad it ended up not being a complete disaster and they found your friend's passport.

I have seen you inebriated and I'd still let you on the plane. ;) I have no idea why she singled you out.

Oh, so clearly @bubbakitty is somehow behind this pink hair discrimination? I get it. Shame on you, Bubba!! :poke:

Wow. I’ve never heard of such a thing. I can’t imagine going through that. Ken used the correct term—grace! I’ll add ‘restraint’. You showed both!

I'm calm by nature but I might have gone full NFC on that airline. Unbelievable.

OH my gosh @breanna61 I am flabbergasted and SOOOOO sorry... That, is a HELL trip. 4 drinks over an entire day for a late flight is ridiculous on claiming "poor form", unless you are one foot tall, or it was four yard stick drinks, which I also can't see you doing. :)

It also is ABSOLUTELY a caution. I have read your posts for years, and I absolutely can't see you showing up even half schlonkered.... You just had an ass that was on some weird mission of vengeance.

Four drinks over a whole day... for a late flight? This is really scary, but you handled it with your usual class and grace.

Now, the stupid airport slots, I was grinning. On my last trip (first solo trip) I arrived early, so I played some slots till boarding. Well, somehow my plane boarded early and I didn't hear it until last call. I literally RAN through the terminal and was yelling "please wait" as they looked to be closing the door. (and my $&$#@ spinner kept tripping on its side. .. Half rolling, half dragging.) The check in guys were cracking up, as I looked like a nightmare. They should have banned ME, not you. (And fyi
FYI, I am NEVER that "last person on" , making everyone wait for me.)

Swoop is now OFFICIALLY on my S-list, and it's, not the Swoop "S" list.

Thank you for sharing. Many of us have a few drinks if a late flight, and we figure if we behave and have only small amounts, it's fine. This is an important cautionary tale for all of us, as you behave MUCH better than many of us. (I behave on flight day, but I IMMEDIATELY told hubs about your nightmare, as sometimes he think Vegas is his "Hot Tub Time Machine" to college days, and pulling him out of Vegas can be a feat at times! We never boss each other around, but after your fiasco, I am going to be extra cautious on a "fly day, dry day" agreement! :nono:)

Oh, I enjoy my beverages in Vegas but do take it easy with them on flight day. Earlier in the trip, we had mimosas on the terrace one morning and decided we'd better head to the Wicked Spoon or we'd soon be too drunk for breakfast :)

I think I will stick to early in the day flights from now on. I like the term....Fly Day Dry Day. Mind if I borrow that?

Thank you for your kind words and support Multifarious.

I am SOOOO grinning. I behave on fly day, but trust me, I am no angel myself. The waitresses know my drink by the end of the trip.

Seriously though, four drinks the whole day for a late flight? And leaving Vegas? I'm surprised half the plane got on. But it only takes one person in a foul mood to be petty.

I am just so glad you made it back in one piece AND saved the hotel room. And the passport was another nightmare. I am so sorry for your trauma, but so glad you had a blast the rest of the trip.... And I loved the TR, as always!

Great report and the trip sounds awesome right until. The end. Do sorry you had to deal with that. If they consider it such an issue why have bars at the airport and sell drinks on the flight? Crazy!
