I can read reports about the Bellagio Fountains, the Mirage Volcano, the popular buffets and out of this world restaurants and shows - anything and everything that all of us Vegas vets know about and has experienced.

And the reason why is because through the eyes of the trip reporter, you will read about an experience that is unique to that person. While the attraction remains the same, the experiences of individuals will vary and that's what makes it interesting.

I sincerely appreciate any type of report, in any shape or form.

I like any and all trip reports. @Electroguy563 put it very well in his post above about the same things often being posted but through the unique prism of the poster.

For me, I prefer to do live TRs. For several reasons. For one, I find that I tend to provide a little more FYI type posts as they occur to me. Same thing goes for spontaneous pics. I’d probably forget to post a lot of the things I post if I did an after trip TR. The second reason I like doing live TRs is that if someone has a question about something close to where I am at the time I can get the 411 if I’m still close by. Also, posting live gives me a little built in break between gambling and walking around. The last reason is purely selfish. I love to go back and read my live TRs from previous trips right before an upcoming trip. Nothing puts me more in the mood for my Vegas visits than reading about my previous ones.

IMHO, any type of TR is appreciated by the VMB community. They provide some great info, tips, ideas & vicarious thrills. They’re also a great way to give back a little to a forum that gives us all so much......

Please include pictures of the rooms and view from the rooms. These are some of the most important aspects of a trip report for those possibly wanting to try where you stayed.

I like the ones that disclose some hidden thing about Vegas that was unknown before. Most of us know Vegas pretty well so describing something that has been there a while has little interest but something new or changed is informative and interesting (to me at least).
Of course anything to do with Vegas After Dark is always welcome.

I will try to remember to do that. I used to regularly post pics of the suites, but I felt like those got repetitive. Still, I haven't done that in a while and the first vegas stay will be at Mandalay, where I have not stayed since they refreshed the rooms and suites a couple years ago.

I rarely read TR's......But when I do read them, I read ALL OF THEM. I personally prefer live TR's.

Well, as of now, the votes show 21 combined votes for TRs of all trips this month (disney, vegas x2, and tunica) either live or via memorex, 19 votes for just Vegas reporting, and 3 votes for vegas and tunica reporting. The 21 votes for reporting all the travels is split between individual reports of each stop and one long, live TR. The latter got the most votes of those two options, so I guess I will start a month long live TR tomorrow (and hopefully keep it up through August 26, the last day of our travels). My partner and I leave tomorrow so I will start a new thread with the TR either tonight or tomorrow morning. Hope you all enjoy

It doesn't matter what form the trip report takes on, whether it's live or written up after your trip(s), it's all good!

Personally, I don't always have time to do live reports when I'm on vacation, since I'm too busy having fun. LOL So on those types of trips which often occurs more often, I just keep notes and write up a full report when I return home. Although on my last Vegas trip, I had more free time, so I did both a live report on another Vegas forum and also wrote a more detailed report on my personal blog, after my trip.

Step 1 - you're well on your way, now just make it to Step 2: Acceptance, and you're done! Yes, there are only two steps in the Vegas Board 12 Step Program. Imagine if we had to make amends to people for our past Vegas indiscretions??? No, we keep it simple here....
