Actually Paris has been OUT of the news for quite some time...so she is old news.

 

NO PLEASE NO ! not Paris, after Prince,Tiger and Kelly I cant take another one of my idols having problems or dying. I may kill myself but not until after I complete all the mundane errands and chores us working class slobs have to do.

I just hope that by ABC bringing Strahan on full time they can become a hard hitting morning news show without any fluff! Of course Strahan would have to learn how to read a prompter first.

Conan didn't get shafted. He took a number one show to number 3. He got fired. No mystery as to why.

 

Michael Strahan was never on Dancing With the Stars. Perhaps you're thinking of Emmitt Smith? He won several years ago.

No different than anyone, anywhere, who calls in sick (when they aren't) leaving their co-workers to pick up the slack.

 

Save for the fact that there are literally hundreds of support staff prepping for her. If she's a no show, there are major ripples.

One thing that Kelly is not is a slacker. We saw the show once back when Regis was still on it. She was really sick, did a great job of faking it, and even did an extended segment for another show later.

I can understand she may have have hurt feelings but she should have sucked it up and acted like a pro
They didn't screw her over or fire her. I imagine Michael had orders not to tell anyone in advance of the announcement so no sense being made at him. I doubt they were personal friends.
She's getting paid a Lot of $ for a couple of hours a day of being cute

and as I recall she didn't seem to care when Regis left. Apparently that was different. He accepted her as the newbie and when he left she became the senior person

 

On the show where Regis announced he was leaving she looked like she had been crying. I think she viewed him as a mentor.

 

I was a captive audience yesterday am in AC. Mrs. made me watch some of that show. .Took a shower and ran from the room.
