Earlier this year, I ate at the original Gallagher's in New York city. I still think about that dry-aged bone-in ribeye. It was that good. I'm not sure if they do the dry aging at the NYNY location, but if they do, this has my vote!

This summer I ate at Vic & Anthony's twice, Gordon Ramsay Steak, Striphouse, Redwood Grill, and Hugo's Cellar.

I'd say that the best steak was at V&A, but the best meal was GR Steak.

CUT, Delmonico's, Prime all good as is Mastros and believe it or not Circus Circus - you need to close your eyes and not open them until your in the restaurant (such a shame it's in such a dive hotel imo

If we are in a steak mood, the automatic response is Delmonico. We've eaten at a number of other steakhouses in town, but Delmonico is the one we keep coming back to with anticipation.

Surprisingly, the two best of the ones I have had were Ruth Chris (I know it's a chain but it's delicious) and the All American steakhouse at Rio. I did not like Gallaghers, Gordon Ramsay was good, Tom Cellichio at Mirage has been good and bad. There also was a really good one at Aria but I can't remember the name of it.

I'm definitely going to try Delmonico this summer, as I've still not ticked it off.

I'd also try Heritage at Mirage. it is Colicchio's place. They use wood fired ovens to cook steaks...awesome taste...and open kitchen, very cool to sit watching them cook.

I never see the Silverado steakhouse at the South Point ever mentioned on here, but we always make sure we visit it every trip as we love it.
