Headed to the Wynn mid-day on Friday for a quick weekend of spa time, good food, pools, and fun! I am trying to keep up my commitment to writing live TRs as long as I can keep the good gambling streak going. That was tough the last couple visits because they were longer trips. This one, short and sweet. Should make it easy to keep things updated. The fam is with me again for the weekend and not a ton of plans. We have two meals reserved: Allegro and Tableau. I have a spa appointment at Encore (one of my favorites!) on Saturday morning. And it should be much warmer than our last Wynn visit, so I anticipate some pool time. Not sure what else. Certainly some gambling. The past couple trips, I felt pessimistic about the gambling headed into the trips, but it worked out well both times. This time, I feel more upbeat about it. Usually when i feel that way, I play big at the start of a trip and try to build a nice cushion to play off the rest of the visit. So I am inclined to start bigger than usual (especially since I already anticipate my next two Vegas trips being lower-play visits). But I also remind myself that Wynn is one of my smaller credit lines and if things go poorly, I won't have many bullets left to take a shot and catch up. So, we'll see. That's pretty much the plans. We leave after lunch on Friday and will be home 48 hours later. I will try and keep this report entertaining and current, but tell me what you all want me to include. I will try and do so
I want food pix please. Including the tower suite food and drinks—if you drink. Another VMBer showed me so I was able to take a quick peek, but she was just showing me around as I hadn’t been before. Also would love thoughts about your spa service since I’m also a spa hoe lol. Like this person was good at X but not so much for Y. I LIKE the meticulous details so please over share the nitty gritty lol Need sneaker pix lol. Especially sparkly ones Have so much fun and hopefully you continue to win!
Done. Mostly, lol. I am not sure what tower suite food and drinks means? Are you asking about the RFB lounge? If so, I will try and remember to take some pics there too. Probably only taking one pair of shoes for the weekend. and since most of my outfits will include red and/or black, I already decided to bring my red addidas (that I of course got from a casino shopping event years ago, lol). Haven't decided yet whether I want to take the time to switch out the shoe laces to the black ones to match the rest of the clothes, lol. But I might. I will make sure to include a spa write up
Yes, the RFB lounge she said they serve high end alcohol there so I’m like how high end lol. The little I saw looked like pastries, but if it’s from tableu then noms! You could bring the black shoelaces and then ask little fanatic to help you change the shoe laces to give him something to do or you two do together with one shoe each? Or…uuuuoooo, wear one color shoelace for each shoe! Bold! lol
No wagers this weekend. I will be too busy with other stuff to watch anyway. I did make a futures bet on Denver to win it all a few months ago when injuries dinged their number a bit. Their odds are much better now, but I really should think about selling the ticket. If their five are healthy, they should win. But one key injury and they are in trouble. Murray is already limping around!
Yeah, the problem with that is I have no idea what constitutes high end alcohol. And they keep most (if not all) of the alcohol in back where you cannot see it. So I can't snap a pic and get feedback. The snacks in there are usually pretty good. Its NOT Tableau food. Not even close (I am pretty sure it comes from the Terrace Point kitchen; but its not stuff that is on that menu generally). By resort lounge food standards, its at or near the top. But its still just some bite size sandwiches, pastry, cookies or fruit. The really nice thing about it, besides the ambiance and convenience to the TS, is the staff is very small and does a great job of remembering you once you get to know them. So they remember form trip to trip what we like and automatically head to the back to get the good stuff for us as soon as we arrive (alcohol for my partner, energy drinks for me lol). Like every Vegas VIP lounge, its great if you get it for free. If I had to pay out of pocket, not worth it
That team is dead to me ... at least until I stumble across some intra-squad scrimmage in a few months
Have a little business to conduct tonight. But since my brain is already in Vegas, I wore these cuff links
