So i got the notification for Wynn slots that the June calendar was up and i took a look.

Everything is blacked out but 6-7 weeknights. May, which looked mostly normal before, is the same.

So what do you think, are they fonally killing the last vestiges of value on the app or will future months bring the weekend rates back?

The app just changed limits as well. There is a cap of 1 free night at level 3 amongst other negative changes.

They have changed so much! I had a big “!” On my coins too so I also went in to read the details..apparently you only get 1 night per cycle…I can get the room on Hotwire and pay that and not waste my time playing all day….sadly I kind of enjoyed playing the games…but they are now dead to me as I sit on my 19,500 chips I will never get to use…..pure garbage… and NO warning.

I don't recall them having anything over Level 5 previously. Looks like there are more redemptions for level 6 and level 7 and higher chip maximums.

Nobody is gonna play this game serieus anymore.
Booking a room online is about the same cost as the levels cost to be able to book.
And you don't have to waste hours of spinning and if you have a bad streak you don't even earn enough gems.

Looks like the Wynn is trying to stop people using the game to book

I can't imagine this game will stick around that much longer with these new limitations. Won't really save much money playing the game/spending money to level up vs. booking straight with Wynn. The only upside to the change is that you no longer need a certain level to book Encore.

I just used two nights last week. I recently bought up to VIP Level 4 and still at Level 4 with today's changes. I'm about to book 2 more nights. I THINK I'll be able to get 2 more additional nights after my current 90 day cycle ends, when my VIP level stays at Level 4, but my VIP Points reset to 0. After that, I'll call it quits.

The calendar opens up a bit with certain levels. This is Level 4, Encore King Room for June. May has 5 days blacked out.

Thanks for your info. Keep us posted on your progress. The calendar requests thread should get busy then, but if i can squeak out a couple encore weekend nights twice in 180 days its probably just worth doing the spend one more time.

Can you post what you see for June?

So, I'm a bit confused. Does it still cost $200 to reach Level 4?

Well, I guess that's the end of that. It was a nice run while it lasted.

    Level 4 was $400 previously.

I'm about to book a room, so I'll lose access to the calendars. But here's everything as of right now:

Yes, you're right, but you could book 2 nights. Now it's basically $600 ($500 to get Level 4 and $100 resort fees) for two nights. Could be worth it on a weekend if you had enough gems. But, for me, there are much cheaper options. Spending $200 was great with multiple nights. Like I said, a good run. Nearly five years staying at the Wynn. I will miss it.

With Level 4 you used to be able to book up to 3 nights at a time which was another nice perk.

Yes, sorry. I would spend the $200 to get to level 3 and book as many two-night stays as possible. Was a great deal while it lasted. At one time you could actually string together two-night stays. Did that a few times before they put a buffer in between booking.

there could be more changes to come, but based on what I see in the app, the it’s are unchanged for VIP 3 and 4.

That said, the redemption changes alone have killed my interest in the game. Actually I was close to quitting it anyway as my chip balances have been dropping quickly and I can’t seem to make meaningful progress in any of the events anymore.

Hah! Yeah, they had a few loop holes in the beginning which they then reacted a little drastically. Realistically, I think if they did something like MyVegas and limited it to one stay every 30 days (regardless of VIP status), it might have helped them in the long run.
