Table Games Why is Craps the best game in the Casino?

With 2017 quickly coming to an end, I have become hooked on Craps as my "game of choice" at casino visits to my locals or to Vegas. Lets hear why in your opinion that "Craps" is the best game around?

I was a skeptic, but upon learning the game, there is nothing like it...lets hear why you feel the same...............

I like it because the whole table(mostly) is rooting for the same roll. Band of Brothers thing going on...

 

The outcome does sometime make it the best. Other times it is the worst. It's all in the timing.

 

Bankrupting a darkside player while the rest of the table rakes it in can be very satisfying.

Best odds in the casino for a game that requires no skill - assuming you stick to the best bets. And the social/camaraderie aspect makes it by far the most fun.

 

One of the few casino games that the casino does not control the outcome. The "shooter" does. Now it is the casino's rules, but it is "us" that control the ultimate outcome. That makes craps unique for me!

 

I like it for the camaraderie at the table and it’s the only game I’m aware of where you can directly effect other players making money if you have a good run.
I can sit at a BJ table and win $500 while everyone else gets their ass handed to them. If I win $500 at the craps table the great majority of the others players will have won also.
It’s like a team game when the table gets hot.

Agreed. It's also even cool when darkside betters don't upset the vibe. Be invisible, or fist pump us on a good run. Heck, I cheer even when I'm not on a certain bet, but I know a couple people are and they're making money. You simply don't get anything close to that on other games.

I also love the fact that you can keep winning off of the same bet, in the same "hand", until you bust. And even then, you have the option of removing some of your bets at any time. What's not to love?!

I would say baccarat requires even less skill and has a better return. But I see your point. At least you don't have to worry about strategy

 

Craps and Roulette share a basic strategy: bet on what you hope will happen next. By comparison, Blackjack is scripted and stifling. You have to learn it then you have to do it. When someone congratulates me for hitting my sixteen I cringe; I’m like, you know I had to do that, right? But when someone congratulates me for throwing my fourth hard eight in a row I’m like, yeah, sometimes I just do things like that!

 

You ever see people partying together and hootin and hollerin at the black jack table? Not too often. Craps is fun because of this.

If most of your money is in odds bets behind pass/don't pass bets or come/don't come bets, the house edge in craps is lower. But you're right, baccarat requires no mental exertion whatsoever - you're essentially betting on a glorified coin toss. Unfortunately, it's also boring as hell.
