What was the last sporting event you watched on TV?

Washington-Oregon in the first round of the Pac 12 tournament—seems like eons ago, but actually only March 11. Oregon favored by 6. Washington was the last leg of my five team parlay—they lost by 7.

The last live sporting event I watched was the New York Rangers at Colorado on 3/11.

On 3/23, NBC Sports was showing replays of notable NHL playoff OT game 7s, and I watched the Rangers OT win over Washington in 2015. That would be the last sporting event of any kind I watched.

 

LSU midweek baseball game. Since the shutdown, I’ve watched a lot of DVR games from the 2019 National Championship season.

Don’t care much for WWE, but I am watching wrestlemania for somewhat of a sports fix.

DVR of Nebraska vs Indiana basketball, ended up being the last game played in the B1G tournament.

I had the Players Golf tournament on but did not watch much on 3/12/2020.

 

Replay of Vince Young and Texas beating that overrated USC team in the 2006 Rose Bowl. Remains one of the very few times in my life I rooted for a team from Texas. Hated those USC teams.

 

March 8 Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Notre Dame Big 10 hockey tournament at least the Gophers won.

My last live sporting event was the Blackhawks / Sharks March 11. During the game the announcers were talking about the game would be the last in the NHL for awhile. I have a tough time watching old recorded sporting events. The only way I would watch old games is if there was something special I needed to see again. It doesn't even appear to have an end in sight. It's amazing how much people miss sports. Everyone try and stay healthy.

 

My mistake, I did see an XFL game but don't remember the teams.

 

To be honest, I'm hard-pressed to name any XFL team. However, I did appreciate the extension of the season where guys in spandex pound the hell out of each other.
