Merely for curiosity, I want to know the longest you have sat at one slot machine. I am more of the ADHD type with slots and constantly bounce around. I look forward to responses. Cheers!

Like you I also bounce around a lot, sometimes playing 100+ different slots in a day. But I am sure that at least once I have played the same machine for 1 hour.

    Mostly same as noted above.

But in Cosmo in Feb, I found a machine that had me up and down within a $200 range for a long time. I'd guess I sat at least 90 minutes maybe two hours.

I just might be the record holder here on VMB for spending the longest time on one slot. Any challengers?

I have easily played on the same machine 6 hours many times over the years. I’ve never timed it exactly but 3-4 hours at a time, one machine, leaving only when a quick trip to the little girls room is needed, then back to my machine for another 1-2 hours, depending on how the machine is playing. (If my DH or friend are in the vicinity, they hold my machine for me. Other times I ask an attendant or other casino employee to watch my machine and tip them for their time). And no, I don’t need diapers :haha:.
These long sessions are carefully planned around my schedule for dining, walking, shows, etc.
I have several favorite slots that I play for very long periods of time. Some I play an hour or two. Others for 15-30 minutes at a time as I slot around the casino.

I spend 12-14 hours a day playing slots in Vegas, often into the early morning hours, as in sunrise, cause that’s what I do.:nworthy::nworthy:

For actual slot machines (not video poker), I would have to guess it was on my first trip to Vegas in 2001 at the Mirage. I sit down at a "Texas Tea" machine, insert a dollar, and begin playing at 9 cents a spin. For nearly the next 3 hours, I consume several beers, and at one point had my balance up to $5. I quit when I finally lost that dollar.

Thanks to this, I often play "Texas Tea" on a Vegas trip. But never ever ever for as long as that!

My wife played The Sex In The City slot machine at Wheeling Island a few years ago for A little over 8 hours. She had to text me twice so she could go to the bathroom so i played for her while she was gone. I think she ended up winning over $300. It was when the machine was pretty new so there were a lot of ppl pacing around her to see if she was ever going to leave the machine. She hit a bonus for $825...that was what kept her playing.

I played once for three hours with my girlfriends. There was a lot of drinking, singing and yelling occurring at the slot machines and it was a blast. We were at the grand so no one was there lol and we all walked away with a good amount of money and a lot of fun memories

4 hours or so when I'm going for a 2,500 TC day at CET. I do it all in a single session (not counting bathroom breaks) on the same machine.

3 hours on the old-style Star Trek slots! Found them on the last day of the first trip I took with the Sweetie, back in 2008.. We were hooked! I got totally lit on Jack & Coke and variations thereof. We barely made our plane. Next trip, 2009, we looked for that slot, and were able to log into to our accounts, and keep making progress on our levels to Captain!

I’m not much of a slot player but on the last Vegas trip with my family to celebrate my nephew turning 21 my brother played a Buffalo machine from around 7 in the morning until almost midnight. He started with $20 bucks playing 75¢ a spin and at one time he was up to $800. The family took turns watching his machine so he could take bathroom and food breaks. He also became pretty good friends with one of the security guards at Planet Hollywood who kept coming by to see how he was doing.

As already mentioned, you have to consider the difference between video poker and slots. I will sit at a VP machine for up to two hours. Slots I play only with a friend who likes to flit from machine to machine, so I suppose my answer would be maybe 20-30 minutes one time at a Wizard of Oz multiplayer slot. Naturally, my friend had to be Dorothy and another sort of intellectual friend with us wanted to be Scarecrow, so I got Tin Man.

Had many long sessions and pretty sure the LONG ones were all bad! Very bad. Chasing losses is always a mistake - that I know but do not always follow.

Years ago, went with friends to Parx casino in Philadelphia for the first time. Got $10 in slot play for signing up for a card. We all started playing a machine called something like Rockin' Olives World Tour. It was a very noisy, flashy machine. My two friends left the bank of machines pretty quickly after losing the initial $10. I hit a small bonus and kept going. A while later, my friends came to find me. Turns out, I had been sitting at the machine for close to four hours. It went by in the blink of an eye. I had maybe $30 to cash out. Not a big win, but I sure was entertained. I never got beyond maybe a few steps from the player's club desk.

I can play Bartop VP for hours due to low hold and many drinks, but I get fearful with slots and my quickly dwindling bankroll.

I played Pai Gow once at PH from about 10 A.M until 2 or 3 the next morning. Probably had more drinks then I have ever consumed in a day in my life. Security even helped me and the rest of my crew back to our room. We filled the entire table for most of this time. If one of us left to grab food or a bathroom break we had another to sit and play. We got massages for hours from one of those ladies walking around. She made out pretty good. I don't think I won or lost more than a few bucks when all was said and done. What a insanely awesome memory just thinking about it.

Slots...probably less than an hour on one machine with my wife.

Just last Friday I arrived at the Oaklawn Casino in Hot Springs, AR. I sat down at a Hexbreaker III for 8 and half hours.

Only the casino truly knows my longest degen run, I don't even remember. All I remember is playing all day, then finding one of the new Whales of Cash machines at Harrah's right before my buddy was going to bed. I had a great run while my buddy was down for the night, only to have him find me again the next day when he came down for coffee.
