West Wendover NV

Planning a 1-night trip. Anyone gambled here recently and if so, what are your thoughts? I read some trip reports, the most recent of which seems to have been posted about 3 1/2 years ago.

I'm particularly interested in poker and video poker and craps, all at low limits, and sports betting.

Also, do you think this VP information from vpfree2 is stale and meaningless at this point? Any thoughts on where to play Jacks or Better with good pay tables?

Unfortunately, I don't have any current intel on the Wendover casinos. The last time I was out that way was before the pandemic hit ca. 2018 or so. Normally, I play VP/slots at the Wendover Peppermill, since I usually stay/play at the Peppermill in Reno too. VP payables were on par with the Reno Peppermill when I was last there, but that was a few years ago.

I also heard from a friend that Maverick Gaming has taken over the Golden Nugget as well as another property in Wendover so there has been a number of changes since I've been out there.
