I do like to eat reuben sandwiches and wouldn't mind advice on where you personally consider the BEST reuben sandwich would be in Las Vegas.

But more interestingly, I came across this Wikipedia page

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reuben_sandwich

    which says, in part:

    "West Coast Reuben

"The West Coast Reuben is a variation on the standard Reuben sandwich, substituting Dijon mustard for the Thousand Island dressing. This variation is often a menu item in restaurants in Las Vegas."

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered this in Las Vegas on a restaurant menu and, if so-- where? and have you tried it? and was it good?

I wouldn't mind going to seek this out on my upcoming trip.

    Thanks for any replies.

I absolutely love a good Reuben, but I wouldn't want either on my sandwich.

Corn beef, kraut, swiss on a good caraway rye. No damn dressings needed.

A Reuben Sandwich without Thousand Island dressing is just some old sandwich that nobody wanted.
