I’ve stay at both a few times and for our next trip in November I’m torn between which to stay at? Are the Venetian rooms really getting run down and worn as much as some recent reviews indicate? I know reviews are hit or miss, but not sure if i should spend more money to stay at Palazzo.

Looking for any current feedback from fellow VMB’ers.

    How much more is it?

I'd pay more to stay there, because I prefer that side of the resort.

It's less crowded, and I feel that it's also better ventilated than the Venetian side, too.

Its been a long time since I stayed on the Venetian side that I can't really compare those rooms to the Palazzo rooms. But I will add that the Palazzo is my strong preference between the two because the casino feels more spacious and less maze-like than the venetian side

Venetian's main tower rooms were redone in the past several years. New sofas and chairs, carpet and maybe some new bedding. I've stayed at both Palazzo and Venetian in the last several months. I always prefer Palazzo for several reasons. The hotel itself just seems less hectic, the rooms are a smidge larger / nicer, 720 sq. ft., vs. 650 sq. ft., and I don't like the green marble in the Venetian bathrooms (silly, but it really dates the space, I think). Maybe the reviews you read are for rooms in the Venezia tower at Venetian. The one time I was given a room there, I changed after one night. I would agree that those rooms are in desperate need of a refresh. If you specify that you want to be in the main tower at Venetian, you should be fine.

The base rooms are exactly the same except Palazzo's are newer of course. If in a base room, personally, I wouldn't pay much more than maybe $10 - 20 per night for Palazzo over Venetian. Their respective casinos are close enough, connected by Restaurant Row and the LOVE sign, that it makes no difference to me that I might need to walk a bit if I wanted to gamble on side only while my room is at the other.

    P. Closer to the Canyon Ranch Spa, wynn, showcase mall and has been mentioned more laid back, spacious, etc. V closer to the main action of the strip, their poker room, bit more crowded, busy, noisy etc. Pick your poison.

I certainly prefer Palazzo. I stayed at Venetian in September of 2020 and although it was nice, Palazzo rooms feel so much fresher.

I prefer Palazzo as well, but will note that they had a few mid-week closures at the beginning of the month that made it a little less convenient than normal. I'm hoping for the best by November.

Okay. I switched to Palazzo. It was only $80 more for both rooms for the 5 days, so not much difference at all.

    Thanks for all the replies!

I don't know if you have a car but if you do, Palazzo side has much better parking access.

I forgot to add that in my post about P. parking, thanks. Esp if u have a car...no need to drag luggage to the desk as parking is closer to the elevators than they lobby is.
