The Freeplay reward requires a hotel stay though.

Last week, I stayed at the Mirage on a comp offer that included $50 free play and successfully used both the Konami and a $25 my vegas free play rewards along with it with no problem. All three were loaded at same time.

I was denied using the $25 and $50 Freeplays at NYNY last month with my comp stay. She was really nice about it though. Said that she doesn’t want to tell people “no” but they've been told firmly not to let people with comps use them anymore.

Staying at Park MGM this weekend. Will try there and see what happens.

I was able to redeem the $25 and $50 Freeplays at Park MGM with no issues, staying on a 4 night MLife comp (there was no Freeplay on my comp offer though, just resort credit).

$50 freeplay at NYNY was denied this morning. I knew I was on casino offer that had comped nights but didn't know I had freeplay. The offer did contain casino freeplay so that is why myvegas was denied.

Hello Everyone, I´m a littlebit confused, as m english wasn´t so good. So I have some question and hope to understand it correct.
I have booked a hotel room in the Mandalay Bay Hotel for 4 nights without MyVegas comps. Is it possible to redeem 2 or 3 50$ Freeplay coupons during this stay, or is it only possoble to redeem 1 freeplay coupon with 50$ and 1 coupon for 25 $?
I also have the Konami Access. Is it possible to "buy" 1 50$ freeplay coupon on Konami and 1 50$ freeplay an the MyVegas site? My wish ist to redeem 3 x 50 $ coupons in the 4 nights stay in summer, as I have enough points.
Hope to get some help and informations from you.
    Thanks so much
    Achim

I agree with this. I got denied last week at NYNY trying to use my $50 and $25 freeplay because my room offer included $30 in freeplay. I had no idea of the rules change. There is literally nothing left of value for rewards. Just a bunch of buy 1 get 1 free coupons. I don't know why anyone would play much less buy any chips to try and earn more. I have about 800,000 gold chips and other than maybe a 2 night room stay can't find a thing worth spending them on.

The overwhelming majority of MyVegas players do not get comp offers let alone free play on top of it. The game is pretty much designed to get them into MGM properties. There’s still rewards of decent value left, free buffets, free rooms, free show tickets etc.

The game was always designed to enhance one’s trip by adding a little extra perks, not to fund a trip entirely. The problem is that they gave too much away from the start and have had to adjust especially cause of those who have abused the system.

Paying for chips has always been entirely for entertainment purposes. Giving away extra perks for those who have paid money has made them feel like they are entitled to get this and that.

If the game was to be launched today I believe many would be jumping up and down for a possibility to get 100% free buffet or a show ticket. But since it’s been around for a while and it’s certainly declined, people have lost a sense of reality. It’s a free game to play and get free or discounted stuff. If you feel your time is more valueble than the rewards then you really shouldn’t play it. I know I feel that way and I’ve put very little effort into it for the last 2 years, I pretty much play occasionally when I’m bored. I’ve got better things to do on my free time.

That being said, over the years I’ve seen probably hundreds of people complaining how there’s only free pizza topping left to redeem etc. I think it’s more of an issue that people refuse to accept the situation and let go. It was fun while it lasted but it has ran it’s course. There’s still something left and if you’ve got coins, I recommend that take what you can and stop playing. If you feel like it still is worth it, then by all means carry on but be prepared to adjust once the decline continues.

PS. This wasn’t directed at pk1959 or anyone else in particular, just my overall take on the game nowadays.

I stayed at Mirage in February on an Mlife comp and had no problems redeeming Myvegas Freeplay.

I’m staying three nights at Mandalay Bay this upcoming weekend. Paying just resort fees on the first two nights and reduced rate for the third night ($200 total). No freeplay on the offer. I assume this still means they won’t let me use $25 freeplay? Any personal experience would be helpful.

Last reported no was in December.

Since you are only paying for 1 night, they will most likely deny you.

RE: Mirage. I checked into mirage earlier tonight on a 3 night MyVegas Comp and after checking in went to the mLife booth. I was able to redeem, both, a $25 and $50 (mirage) free play. But, as we have found with this game and redemptions, "YMMV"

Checked into Mirage last Weds 3/20 on a freeplay/food/room comp. Was able to redeem $50/$25 Myvegas FP without issue.

However, the host had not put the offer freeplay on my account yet, so that may have helped with the redemption of Myvegas FP. A quick text got that taken care of.

I stayed at MGM Grand last month on a 4 Night Comp that included $100 Free play and $100 resort Credit. I was able to redeem $100 free play from MyVegas. I had redeemed the MyVegas freeplay a day before going back to the Mlife desk to add my Freeplay that came with my offer.

The terms of the reward state that the freeplay reward is not combinable with any comp offer-MyVegas or MLife. It doesn't state anything about freeplay attached to the room offer as a deciding factor. Yes, people have been allowed to use it anyway, but don't expect to be able to. Mandalay Bay is the the most strict about it.
