I’m pretty sure you can stay without playing in tournament. Go play in it might be a nice experience and become your favorite game it’s one of the ones with low house advantage.

it is super easy to learn. it may look complicated or intimidating with all of them sitting around taking notes and stuff, but I think you should join in and maybe win something.

I can't tell you whether or not you can take the offer without being in the tournament... but I can tell you that baccarat takes no skill whatsoever, and if you're playing only for tournament chips, you'll likely do okay just flat-betting on either player or banker. Some will bust out and lose all their chips, others will pull out way ahead, and you'll likely land somewhere in the middle.

I’ve received comps for nights in Vegas for blackjack tournaments and um.. we’ll never made it to the tournaments . Seems to me like they’re just trying to get you there.

I heard our local hollywood columbus had a baccarat tourney winner who put all his tourney chips on tie bet for the 1st hand. Hit it for the win then played slowly to coast in for win.

The simple answer is - NO, you do not have to play. However, take a close look at your offer as sometimes there is free play associated with the offer (depending on your gambling history with CET) which is awarded to you at registration to the tournament, not at hotel check in.
