Thanks @eliza for an epic TR. I have to admit I was a little concerned with your early mishap. But you persevered and I’m so happy you did. Great pictures and great narrative. Made us feel like we were right there with you. Thanks again and I’m looking forward to your next adventure.

Wait it’s over? I just figured you quit your job and where going to transition to some nomadic van life trip blog?

I enjoyed reading your travel experiences for the past month. Thank you for the great photographs and for the time in posting them. A month on the road, especially on a path "less traveled", is pretty awesome.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful trip with us! Loved seeing all of the interesting sights and yummy food and hotels and casinos. And thanks for bringing back memories of my childhood road trip to New Mexico. I hope you enjoyed your trip as much as we all enjoyed reading about it. And glad you made it home safely.

Garden of the Gods was my first ever USA National Park. In the early 80’s I was sent to work in CO for a few months. It will always be a bit special to me, some of the best memories of my life.

Holy cow, 62 casinos (not including Las Vegas) in a month. Thanks for the time you put in to keep us entertained. Did you go to the Royal Gorge when you visited Cripple Creek? How many mile did you drive?

I'm late to the show since I don't get on much anymore with work restricting sites we can visit but had to comment. That's my home town and the station that 66 sign came from my dad worked at in high school. Cool trip report so far from a nearly lifetime Okie
