Loving that room...read about people getting upgraded to them in another forum...tried once to no avail...have to try again in Oct

is this the one in Aria on the main floor near the craps tables? I saw a guy hit 4 $1,500 handpays in two days...craziest I've seen....
I was playing the $1 on that bank and he hit one...later that night I walked by and he was waiting on another handpay...early next morn he's in the same spot with the lights flashing

At this point I said I was gonna move up and run a few dollars through there cause something had to be up...came down a few hours later and it had an out of order sign on it...figured he did something to it or it was like a repeat of the scene from casino

Went to the buffet and came back a couple hours later and there was my friend waiting on another handpay! Who knows how much he dumped or hit in between but over two days I saw him on the machine four times and every time he was getting paid I never saw him grinding.

I was never a big slot player but after reading these TRs I'm gonna step it up

 

Yup...that's the same bank...two $5's on one side and two $1's on the other. The mixed 7's and solid 7's do hit pretty frequently, so definitely not out of the ordinary for him to be hitting those handpays. Solid 7's will get you the $1500 Handpay. Someone hit solid 7's on one of the $5 machines last night. As of this morning, it has not been played again...the 7's are still lined up as he left it.

Ok - I usually try and hit and run on the $1 side since I've had a little luck doing so at Foxwoods....I'll spend some time on the $5 side next trip and see if I can get my first vegas handpay

Yup...those style games are pure evil...EVIL!

 

You need a column of Cleo's on the left field, to transfer to the right field.

 

Not sure if you can do this at other casinos, but the Wynn has games in that same column style that actually allows you to see the top 5 highest hits on the machine. You can also see the highest hits in the last 24 hours. Some have hit for $25k but I never saw hits higher than a few hundred within the last 24 hours.

I did see a guy hit handpays within minutes of each machine in the row over at encore though

Many WMS games allow you to look at the recent statistics of the machine, usually depressing.

 

I also assume about as useful as the recent numbers on a roulette table.
