    My Trip Report

Well just got back from our trip this week.

First trip I've been on with an under 21 with us. It was my cousin and was a late edition to our trip which was unfortunate since she turns 21 in like 2 weeks we could of rescheduled if we had known earlier lol.

So we did alot of the other stuff you can see and don't need to be 21.

Obviously all the free stuff Fountain, Volcano, Sirens of TI.

But her and my dad went and saw the Dolphins at the Mirage and we all went to Shark Reef at Mandalay. So this trip was a bit different than the usual get drunk and end up in random places kind of trip ha ha.

My dad had a cold before the trip and unfortunately my mom and I got it the day we arrived in Vegas. It wasn't too bad for me but my mom spent the first day just resting in the hotel room. Which we stayed at Planet Hollywood again. I really love it. Great location, good sized rooms, huge bathrooms... and of course free always helps too lol. We were on the 25th floor with a perfect view of the Fountains at Bellagio. (The Paris Baloon blocked a bit of it but still a great view.)

Pretty much just gambled the first day and that was the only time I was up money wise. The rest the week I didn't win anything ha ha. Stopped for a hotdog and beer at Pinks but thats pretty much the excitement of the first day.

The second day my mom was feeling a bit better but she already has a tough time walking a bunch so we got her one of those scooters. Went around the Miracle Mile shops for awhile ate at Cheeseburgers nothing overly great then gambled till early evening. That night we walked North to see the Sirens and Volcanoe and the other casinos up that way. I've seen most this stuff multiple times but had to show my dad and cousin. I mean for being fre the Sirens of TI is pretty entertaining.

Wednesday early was when my dad and cousin went off to do their thing and I gambled some more. I did pretty well on the Press you luck machine and the new lord of the rings but then gave Clue a go and didn't hit a single bonus through $300 of play that was pretty lame.

Today was also the day I will be basing my question on. While I was playing this guy came up to me and called me by my first name and introdced himself as an executive host of Planet Hollywood gave me his card and said call him next trip so he can get me better accomodations. Well first I lost his card... ooops so hopefully if I do call they will know who to transfr me to. But secondly is having a host come up to you like this normal? I mean I don't feel like I play a whole lot I go out once a year and thats my gambling for the entire year so its not like I go back multiple times. But for example this trip went from no tier score to just above platinum with my play. But secondly what should I expect from a host. I mean I already get free rooms and some other offers that usually are at the wrong times for me to use. I use my reward points for food so alot of that is free to. So would it be worth having a host?

But anyways gonna cut the rest of this a bit shorter with 2 main highlights.

Jersey Boys.... Amazing. I would pay the 200 dollars to see it again

Flight home, bad weather got rerouted to an airport an hour and a hlaf away good thing my sister was kind enough to come get us so we didn't have to wait for the flight to let the weather pass.

But thanks for reading and any suggestions on this host thing would be apprecited. Thank you.

Hi - Glad you enjoyed your trip. Regarding the host....I was sitting at a machine at Paris (we always stay there) mid-morning (earlier this month) when I was approached by a host also..she was with one of the floor guys. They called me by name and knew I was a Diamond cardholder. First time that has happened to me. Asked if I was having a good trip and if we had seen any shows this trip (they seemed to know we are loyal CET players and have stayed at Paris for several years...usually twice a year). We had just went & used some of our comps from the Great Race promo to buy tickets for the following nite to see Jersery Boys. I responded that we were going the next nite. Didn't even think why they were asking but have been told they would have offered me free tickets if I had said no. Maybe could have gotten tickets for another show...not sure. Anyway, several of our group were there with me & it blew their mind that they knew my name and so much about me.
I know you said you lost the host's card but do you remember anything about his name...1st or last? I would definately call to inquire when getting ready for your next trip. Maybe you can get show tickets too!

    Good luck!!

You already get a room, but a host will get you a bigger and better room than you can reserve. That's really all our host does for us, but we get awesome rooms.

Too bad you lost the card. If you call without a name they just connect you with the host on duty. That should still work or you.
