There's nothing about tier matching on the RW site. But the RW site isn't really very helpful for many things.

The article's author, Marc Meltzer, is a big contributor to Travel Vegas and other Vegas blogs. He doesn't generally report rumors. He reports news and happenings. He's generally trustworthy.

It's a little unclear if RW is matching only highest tiers or all tiers:

"Resorts World will match the highest tier from MGM Resorts’ M Life Rewards, Caesars Rewards, Wynn Rewards, and The Venetian’s Grazie Rewards to its highest tier."

They're only matching others' top tiers. I have no clue to which Genting Rewards tier(s) the match will be. I will not be able to report on this from personal experience because there's no way I will reach top tier anywhere.

Time to run some numbers... in a separate post, for the sake of readability.

I'll use slot play at a 10% hold as the control. I may also show higher hold percentages where appropriate.

The top tier with Grazie Rewards (Venetian) is Paiza Gold. That takes $10k annual theo per year (40k Grazie tier points, with $1 theo = 4 Grazie tier points). At 10% hold, that would be $100k annual slot coin-in. At 12% hold, that would be about $83333.33 annual coin-in. By far, this is the lowest bar of entry to doing a tier match at Resorts World.

The quickest path to consideration for Caesars Seven Stars is to have ten gaming days of Diamond in a Day -- 5k base TCs per day. On slots, that would be $250k of annual coin-in.

Mlife Noir is rumored to be 3 million TCs and/or a massive (think six-figure) total actual loss. Even if the consideration line were to be 1 million TCs, that would mean Noir would take at least $300k in annual slot coin-in.

Maybe one other person on VMB knows how much play it takes to reach Chairman's Club with Wynn Rewards. Just to reach the Black tier takes $30k of annual theo for the Vegas market (it's $70k annual theo if all of your Wynn Rewards play is in Boston). At 10% slot machine hold, you're looking at $300k of annual slot coin-in; at 12% hold, it's $250k of annual slot coin-in.

Now... which tiers of Genting Rewards in Vegas require 1 million to 3 million base Genting Points per milestone year (1 June - 31 May) to achieve/maintain?

So you have to be mlife Noir to match? They won't match Platinum to any of their tiers?

I’m seven stars and they matched me when I was there last Friday to the champion level. The slot manager that I talked had me to go to the hosts office and that they’re only matching the top tier from other players clubs

Wynn is also doing tier matching so I wonder how this is going to work? What if you go tier match to black card the top card at the Wynn and then immediately go to resorts world and tier match there? Will they allow that? I am going to try and tier match to black at the wynn with my pechanga red players card that expires july 31st (on the list as one of the matches for the wynn) on Saturday. Before reading this article, my plan was go to resorts world first and then go to encore and the wynn and tier match. I can do the other way around if I am able to match wynn black on same day I get the card to the resorts world top tier. That would be nice.

The article mentions “The Ace” and “Crocksford” as being higher so it’s not to their highest tier. We need more data points.

    No.

Resorts World is only accepting the Chairman's Club from Wynn for a match. That means that Resorts World is not accepting Wynn Rewards Black for their tier match. Clearly, RW thought carefully about this.

Based on Slotmassacre @A.P. Baguley YouTube videos, it looks like he made it to Tier 2 "Fabulous" around 20k Genting points and Tier 3 "Icon" around 115k. This was $250 and $500/hand VP.

    Member levels are as follows:
    • Member
    • The Fabulous
    • The Icon
    • The A-Lister
    • The Champion
    • The Ace
    • Crockfords (guess they finally dropped the "The")
Probably makes sense that they are matching to "The Ace".

Now I need to go back to the video and make corrections to ensure that I have the proper number of base Genting Points earned that are required to reach Fabulous and Icon. I failed to account for the 5% bonus on spendable points at the Fabulous tier (with no bonus on base points used for achieving tier).

    [EDIT: Correction made.]

Curious about this as well, their Wynn Rewards T&C doesn't even mention Chairman's Club.

Not gonna lie those tiers look about useless compared to what you get with CET even now.

Chairman's Club is Wynn's invite-only status. I believe @Flowers is one of our resident Chairman's Club members.

Indeed, we may need our resident expert on this Wynn Rewards tier to jump in and break this down for us.
