wife and I have stayed at plaza 2 times since the remodel and have found the room to be a good value for the price.

my dear wife recently passed so I will be solo next trip which hopefully will be in early april.

one thing we really liked was the pool area last summer so I booked plaza and el cortez as a back up.

I have sent plaza 2 emails asking them if the pool will be open in early april and they haven`t even bothered to respond so maybe I should just do the tower room at el cortez which we really liked also and it is cheaper to boot.

you would think to keep a customer a couple of minutes to send an email wouldn`t be too much trouble??

    Sorry for your loss.

I have found that some companies respond within a day, or even within hours, but yet others it takes weeks or maybe never.

    Why not just call them?

E-mails suck and no one wants to deal with them.

That is pretty much indicative of what kind of service you can expect when you get there. If management gives service like that, then the people downstream cannot be expected to do much more..... Not that the response would be correct, even if you got one.

If no one is going to monitor and respond to emails, they should not have an option of contacting them that way.

You can also ask questions on their Facebook page. Those questions are monitored pretty closely.

I am so sorry for your loss. The pool will be open at the Plaza, and I love ElCo, but you have to decide which place will be less painful. Don't worry about anybody calling you back. Just get through what you have to do for the first time in VEGAS without your love. As hard as it is going to be, you will survive.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I think going to LV is a good step in the healing process. While it will invoke memories that may bring sadness, in time those memories in the city that you both loved will be treasures of your time together.

I was there last year, early April and Pool was open, but just call them or give one of the hosts a call. Most of them I have talked to are very nice and will go out of their way to help you out! Here is a link to their hosts...
