I am a Gold level member with Identity at Cosmo thanks to an 8 day stay in May of last year with my wife. After that stay I went back once in Oct. with a 2 night marketing offer doubled with 2 nights free for Gold. After that trip I received an offer for a 4 night stay with a whopping $50 in promo chips for the next period (Jan 29. - Mar. 25) which I did not utilize, then later received an offer for 4 nights with $100 in promo chips during Mar. 26 - May 20 which I immediately booked over the Mayweather-Pacquiao weekend as well as my companion room for Fri-Sat for a friend.

It was a buddy's birthday and we had a lot going on so unfortunately I did not get around to gambling at Cosmo as much as I had hoped but I did spend a bit on the property ($800-$1,000) between STK, Marquee, pools, etc. On the 3rd day I stopped by the Host on Duty desk to check my rating and mentioned I may be leaving early and wanted to see how I was rated. I was informed my play 'wasn't bad' and they had me logged in at around 9 hours at $89 avg bet plus more than $22k coin in on VP and their records show I was just above even so only the room would be covered and not the upgrade ($56/night for fountain view) or room charges (only around $150 - previous expenses were paid for then given to Identity desk). He told me they were looking for about 4 hours per day so 16 hours total play but didn't mention avg bet or coin in. My avg. bet seemed low as I usually play with $100+ per roll on craps but I believe it was because I had played 2 hands of $25 min BJ ($50 total bet) for 3-4 hours. After reading threads here I realize I should have checked with the PB after each session to ensure I was being rated accurately but because I was tipping well I figured I would be fine.

Also, at one point on Friday night I bought in for a grand on a $25 min Craps table and was betting more than $200/roll ($25 Pass with anywhere from 2-5x odds and placing anywhere from $30-$60 on both 6 and 8 depending on roller) while pressing my place bets as they hit. Meanwhile a guy walks up next to me and buys in for 3k and is betting no more than $75 per roll at best but within 5-10 minutes a host walks over and introduces himself and asks if the guy was staying with the hotel (he did not offer an Identity card). The guy informs him he was just passing through and wouldn't need any help and the host gave him his details and walked off. I assumed it was because he wasn't in the system and he made the larger buyin but it felt like that moment in Swingers where the guys are trying to get comp'ed and the little lady at the blackjack table gets offered a free buffet as they watch in awe.

I ended up leaving a full day early and let a buddy crash there to checkout in the am so didn't log any more play. Doing so, I was concerned that my offers would be reduced but within a week the next offer came in for another 4 days complimentary between May 14 - Sep. 9.

My question is, did I underplay by a lot according to their records? When I continue to get the 4 night offers and book on weekends I feel like I am getting overcomped. Previously I didn't believe my play warranted a host or extra comps (at higher end properties at least) but after seeing the guy get offered in front of me I am not so sure anymore.

They had some of the cheaper craps tables Saturday after the fight. A few $100 dollar tables, lot of $50 dollar tables, but one $25 dollar table. I jumped on that and got grandfathered in before it was later bumped to $100.

Meanwhile I saw Bellagio at $300 min and MGM around $100 on main area.

It's evident they don't get as high profile gamblers like a lot of the more established casinos.

It seems in line with what I get from them. I don't get the promo chips anymore but I get the 4 night offers while the GF gets 2 night offers. I get rated a little less than you per hand but put in more hours. Haven't had a problem getting 2 and 4 night offers regularly.

I'm going to be in town the week of 6/14. My current comp expires 6/10. If I call are they normally good with extending the offer dates? For some reason I haven't gotten a new offer yet
