Vodka/Soda with a splash of Chambord. I call it the "Venetian", because the first time I had the combo was while bar top gambling at the Venetian. : )

Going out from 1930 till 2230 and will only have one or two beers there at a social club with a group. Serious drinking will be done at home and we will be off the roads early. Maybe some tequila this year. Wine or rum and coke for Mrs flyguy.

We never go out. I've always hated NYE. So, movies at home....beer & wine with various appetizers. Maybe a Manhattan but the beer I've started with is 8.5abv....

There will be Spumante at some point. Don't know if it will be supplemented by wine or cocktails, yet.

We're gonna try the Sinatra Select Jack Daniels for a toast at midnight, methinks.

    Nothing special here for food.
I'm throwing crunchy fishsticks and waffle fries in the oven for dinner.

Trying to keep it classy in the ardee household. As we do. ;)

Tomorrow I'll try to do some real fancy cooking for the holiday.

My bride was called into work so my only kiss at midnight was one of these this year...

    kiss.jpg

I paired it with a can of Natty Ice :cowboy:  that I found on it's side behind and under the meat drawer in the fridge.

But it's all good. I'm having the best day of the year so far!
