I agree with your 1-3. If they are holding theo, on 10% slot holds, I should at least rate a room and a buffet at that place. I wasnt even that lucky. If they looked at actual (very doubtful at most places) I really got screwed. I was passing through any way. Maybe they look at zip codes, much like Vegas local joints do?

Any way, they would offer OK VP since, like I pointed out before, getting machines below 95% on VP would take some doing. Even the Airport has Deuces Wild for 98.9%. You just cant cheat that much on VP. I'd like to think good VP means good slot returns, I know that was always tried and true. But you cant get a VP machine like you can a slot with crazy holds, number 1, not sure if they are even out there. Number 2, unlike slots you can look at the paytables, and if word got out that they had 15% holds on poker, no one would trust the place. Its too transparent to steal from poker players, since the returns are listed right there on the screen.

    Deansrobinson,
Just about everyone we know there all jokes that they have fully stocked bars at home thanks to HR. Funny thing, most don’t drink much of that stuff at home but are ready for the next big block party.

Have you seen that half of the Center Casino is boarded up again for yet another remodeling? As I understand, since the ceilings and walls have already been done, this one is for new carpet and the repositioning of the machines and tables. HR wants to make the area more intimate and the same as the Mezzanine Casino. Hopefully, this project won’t take as long but I have no idea why they boarded up to the ceiling again unless they are drilling into the concrete.

    Grid,
Under Florida law, the minimum slot returns is 80%. Most of the VP returns 98-99%.

Is definitely possible they factor in ZIP codes too. Hard to say.

Where is this 98.91% Deuces at the Airport? I don't know of any.

It is called "Airport Deuces" because it began to appear at McCarran Airport first as a lower paying option to the most common paytables at the time, Full Pay (100.76%) and Not So Ugly Ducks (99.73%). Ever since I have come back to Vegas starting in 2011, I have never seen Airport Deuces at McCarran. The best paytable I've seen there is "Colorado Deuces" (96.77%), which is the same paytable you burn your freeplay on at TI with. And TI does have a few "Airport Deuces" games. Literally a few.

As for the worst paytable ever, I saw this last weekend at Sam's Town Tunica.

It's 91.1%. But you can see that most people could tell to stay away from this game. Two pair 1 for 1, but no big payouts on quads? That's a red flag.

They also had 91.42% Dueces too. This game is s little more tricky to spot its terribleness. It's also available at Bally's LV for up to 100 coin dimes!!!
